Liam woke up rather early on the weekend - classes were out and there was nothing for the Future Head of the Addams Family to do at the moment - so he was scrolling through his phone to see if there was anything interesting to see. Suddenly, there was a pounding on the other side of the door, he rolled out of bed, rose to his feet, put on his hoodie, and walked over to the door before opening it - revealing a very annoyed Wednesday and excited Enid greeting him on the other side in the hallway.
"Sister. Enid. What can I do for you?" Liam asked as he raised his eyebrow.
"Make yourself decent, we are going to Jericho and you are coming with us." Wednesday demanded but Liam's eyebrow raised even higher in confusion.
"And tell me why I - The Elder Sibling - should yield to the commands and demands of the younger sibling?" Liam asked with sarcasm in his voice - Enid snickered at Liam's comeback but when Wednesday glared at her, she looked off to the side and started whistling to distract herself.
"I have an appointment with a Therapist in Jericho and I demanded that you attend with me as well. Weems is going to be our transportation there, so make yourself decent, and let's go meet Weems outside the gates of Nevermore." Wednesday - once again - demanded. Liam exhaled before looking over Enid.
"Did she rope you into this as well?" Liam asked but Enid's smiling face shook.
"No, I just wanted to go to Jericho because I didn't want to be bored waiting in the dorm while Wednesday went to her session." Enid explained. Liam looked at her with curiosity in his eyes - this girl was curious to him, the good kind of curious. She was like a bright shining puzzle box that he wanted to solve, but at the same time, he didn't want to taint her light with the dark blood that coursed through his veins. He was at odds with himself.
"How about this? While Wednesday is having her Therapy Session, you can show me around Jericho." Liam suggested - Enid smiled and nodded but Wednesday shook her head.
"No. While I am talking to the Therapist, you will be waiting for me in the hallway. If you get bored, just play on your phone or something, you slave of technology."Wednesday retorted but Liam just shook his head.
"Listen, sister. Just because you have a session due to what you've done at our previous school, doesn't mean that you can drag me into it. I'm going to explore Jericho with Enid." Liam said.
"Do not argue with me, brother, just do as I say." Wednesday narrowed her eyes but a similar glare took hold of Liam's eyes, making Enid shiver at the chilling aura coming from the two of them.
"I shall not yield to you, Wednesday. Now, excuse me." Liam walked into his room and closed the door in his sister's face. Enid looked at her roommate - a chilling feeling filled the air as Wednesday stood there, shaking in anger at the fact her brother just defied her. A few moments later, Liam opened the door where a white dress shirt with his sleeves rolled up to his elbows - showing off the small scars on his forearms, black pants, black shoes, and the Amythest Brooch pinned to his shirt over his heart. Enid's eyes looked at the brooch with interest while Wednesday just glared at it.
"Remove that damn brooch." She demanded.
"No. The spirit said that I would find the happiness that I have been seeking." Liam then narrowed his eyes at her, "And denied." Liam closed his room door and walked down the hall with his hands in his pockets with Wednesday following behind him and Enid following behind her. Liam was denied love? Why? And what does Wednesday have to do with that? The Addams Twins and the Werewolf walked to the gates of Nevermore where Principal Weems was waiting by her car for the children.
"Principal Weems, I wanted to thank you for the uniform. Although, I'm not 'Allergic to Color' like Wednesday." Liam said.
"You are welcome, Mr. Addams. Now, we need to get to Jericho." Weems said as she got into her car. Wednesday got in the front seat while Liam and Enid sat in the backseat together & the car drove down the street towards Jericho. Enid sat in the backseat with Liam - who had his eyes closed and his arms folded. What was he thinking about? Enid lifted her hand and placed it on his shoulder, causing him to look at her with black eyes.
"What can I do for you, Enid?" Liam asked.
"You seem bothered. Is everything alright?" Enid asked.
"I...I am fine. Just thinking." Liam said as he looked out of the window.
"What about, if you don't mind me asking." Enid asked before looking at the brooch shining on his chest, "Can I ask how you got that brooch?"
"You are aware that the dorm I am currently inhabiting was haunted, correct?" Liam asked as he looked at Enid, who nodded in response, "The Spirit within the room requested me to deliver a letter to her parents if I wanted to take residency in the room. I did as she asked and they gifted me this brooch - it was a condition in the letter. Upon returning to the room, I spoke to the spirit again and she told me to keep the brooch, saying that it would lead me to the happiness that I have been seeking."
"You've been seeking happiness? Don't you have anything that makes you happy in your life?" Enid asked. Liam opened his mouth to answer but Wednesday demanded for the two of them to be silent. Liam exhaled and looked at Enid again.
"We shall talk when we arrive at Jericho." Liam said before he closed his eyes again. Enid nodded and watched the world pass by out the window. She wanted to learn more about Liam - something about him... intrigued her.
