Scarred Hearts - Enid Sinclair x Male Addams OC

~ The Nightshade Library ~

Liam stood in the middle of the Quad with his phone in his hand - looking on his phone for a certain book when he noticed the other students walking out into the Quad and breaking off into their groups: The Furs, The Scales, The Stoners, and the Fangs. During his time in Nevermore, he made friends with 3 of the 4 groups - The Fangs because of his friendship with Yoko from their connection in Enid, The Stoners because of his friendship with Ajax, The Scales because Bianca respected him and his skills in fencing, however, he wasn't able to make friends with the Furs because he didn't know any furs - well, there wasn't entirely true - he knew Enid and she was a werewolf but for some reason, she didn't hang out with the other Fur Kids in the Quad. Liam was curious about this - sure Enid was close with her friends but why didn't she hang out with her own kind? Liam looked up at the cloudy skies with the thought on his mind before the sound of Enid's voice called out to Liam, causing him to look in her direction while sliding the phone into his blazer pocket. Liam watched as Wednesday, Enid, and Yoko walked over to him, Yoko told him hey before he walked over to the rest of the Fangs Group and started mingling among them before he looked at Enid, who was looking over at the Furs Group - the other fur kids were speaking to the Alpha of the group.

"Enid. A question if I may." Liam called out to Enid, causing her to look in his direction and nod with a smile on her face. "Riddle me this: Why don't you hang out with the other Fur Kids when we are out in the Quad? I can understand wanting to hang out with those you consider your friends but aren't you interested in hanging out with your own kind?" Enid looked at the ground with embarrassment on her face before she looked up at Liam.

"I don't hang out with them because the Alpha doesn't want me to." Enid explained, causing Liam to raise an eyebrow.

"Why is that? What reason does he have?" Liam asked.

"Even though I am a werewolf, I have never 'Wolfed Out'. The Fur Kids have all shifted at least once, but I never did. The Alpha explained that the only way I could hang out with his group is when I shift so I can join them on their pack runs." Enid said.

"Is that something you desire?" Liam asked. 

"Yes. I always wanted to run with a pack, go hunting, and just be together." Enid smiled sadly. Liam nodded and started walking in the direction of the school's building.

"Where are you going?" Wednesday asked.

"To fulfill Enid's Wish." Liam said before he was too far away for them to speak again. Liam walked through the school until he reached the Library and walked inside - he started looking around the shelves for anything that had to do with Aura Seekers but he wasn't able to find anything - then again, Aura Seekers were extremely rare so there weren't a lot of information on them. Liam placed his hands in his pockets and closed his eyes to think - if a book about Aura Seekers existed, where would it be? Liam stood there and wondered but his eyes opened again and the answer came to him: One night, he was returning to his dorm when he heard about the Nightshade Library under the Edgar Allen Poe Statue where the most forbidden knowledge was stored. If there was something about Aura Seekers, it would be in that library but he wouldn't be able to go until tonight. Liam nodded his head before returning to his head and returning to his dorm and waiting until nightfall.

[That Night]

Liam crept out of his dorm and used his aura to make a Cloaking Spell to hide himself so no one would see him, left the dorm building and walked over to the Edgar Allen Poe Statue - Liam looked around to make sure no one looked at him and looked back at the statue and snapped his fingers twice, revealing the hidden stairway. Liam walked down the stairs and looked around at the Nightshade Library and started looking around - some of the books were rather old but still able to be read. The black eyes of the Addams Heir scanned over the books until one book stood out to him - Spirit Walkers. Liam pulled the book out of its place and flipped through its pages until he found a section on mending and combining auras - Liam looked wide-eyed at the words, he would be able to combine the two auras Enid had and perhaps allow her to wolf out. 

Liam placed the book into his cloak, walked out of the Nightshade Library, and reactivated his Cloaking Spell to hide himself from anyone who might see him before making his way back to his dorm. He was going to read what he could for tonight but he still needed to get some sleep so he wouldn't be so tired in the coming morning.

'Just hold on, Enid. I'll make sure you wolf out if it's the last thing I do.' Liam said before he opened the book and started reading what he could before he placed the book under his pillow and went to sleep.
