Realization

The splendid 3 and a half minutes went by like it was nothing, and the crowd was cheering loud for Gawr Y/n. The girl in the middle of the makeshift stage was waving to the crowd.

Y/n: "THANK YOU EVERYONE!! I hope y'all like this small surprise we prepared for you! Here's some words for the aspiring hero's competing in this arena. "

Y/n then looked up and saw her class, 1-A in front of her.

Y/n: "Whatever happens in this place, either bad or good, will be important. Don't forget the feeling that is with you right now. That can turn into a new light that can lead to justice being prevailed. Thank you."

The whole stadium was clapping for Y/n's small little speech. The shark girl then had a big grin which made the crowd even go wilder.

Y/n: "WELP, SHARK OUT!!"

The short girl used her quirk to surround herself with water and was able to make the effect of her disappearing. Everyone was clapping for exit and then Midnight snapped her whip.

Midnight: "Now, now. Thank you Gawr Y/n for that great performance. May the tournament begin!"

Jirou, ignoring what the pro hero said she stood up and bolted out from her seat. The girls of 1-A noticed this and questioned Jirou's sudden movements.

Ashido: "Why did Jirou suddenly run off? Isn't the tournament gonna start?"

Yaoyorozu: "I bet she's trying to find Y/n."

Hagakure: "They are pretty close, seeing her current reaction I think she also didn't know about Y/n being a vtuber."

Asui: "Hmmm, do any of you think that Jirou likes Y/n?"

Yaoyorozu beams and was excited to contribute to proving why her ship would sail.

Yaoyorozu: "Well-"

Running through the hallways Jirou's steps echoed through the cement corridor. Her heart was beating loudly it was overtaking her sense of hearing. The feelings she was getting is the same to when she first discovered music. Still not knowing what to say she spots the short girl. Y/n looks at Jirou's direction. She seemed shocked and out of breath.

Y/n: "Kyoka?? What are yo-"

Jirou interrupted her quickly with a warm embrace. Y/n reciprocated the big hug the musician gave her. Still not knowing what her words are, Jirou blurted out to the shark girl.

Jirou: "Y/N, YOU DID AMAZING!!!"

She knew she shouldn't pressure the girl with questions nor her new realized feelings. Everything was moving too fast for her, and Jirou should wait. Plus, the musician didn't even know if Y/n liked girls or if she actually had a secret boyfriend.

Y/n was flattered and was grateful the Jirou came out to hunt her down right after the performance. She smelled the familiar scent of lavender. Jirou being there calmed Y/n down after the rush. Y/n had prepared the event in secret for a while. She was worried that Jirou wouldn't talk to her after the performance. Her being secretive around the girl might have sent Jirou the wrong alarms about why Y/n was avoiding her. Although seeing her here, supporting her washed the worries away. The shorter girl looked up and smiled at the taller one.
