Violet's P.O.V
We arrived at Hogwarts and I was on a sugar high which isn't good because I'm never patient and I always have to be doing something.
We got on the boats and two other boys sat with us. "I can wait another second Draco, I'm jumping in!" I say.
I try to jump in but I feel a pair of hands on me. "no because your going to get cold and get sick." says Draco. "no I won't because I have you!" I say.
"Is she always like this?" Asks the slightly thicker kid. "no she is just on a sugar high." says Draco.
He let go of me and I jumped in. I got some weird looks but I swam anyways.
"Come on ferret the water's fiiinnne!" I tell swimming in my back.
He just looks at me and he was smirking.
I got out of the water and I was freezing cold. almost every guy came over to me with their cloaks off saying you can borrow my cloak.
Ron walked over to me and picked me up. "hello Ronnie." I say my arms wrapped around his neck while he was holding me bridal style.
"Hello love." he said and I laughed.
"In your dreams." I said.
"Yeah his wet ones!" Says Fred and therefore everyone was laughing.
He put me down and I went with the first years. "Hello, my name is Ginny!" Says a girl walking up to me. red hair and freckles. She was a Weasley. "hey I know you! Your Ron's girlfriend!" She said. I started choking because I was laughing so hard. "you... Really..... Think.... That... I'm..... dating.. Ron?!" I said in between laughs.
"Well yeah the way your eyes sparkle when you look at each other." She said and my mouth wide open. "we are ready for you." Says McGonagall.
We all walk into the great hall and I smile at Ron and Harry and Draco and Seamus.
"Ginny Weasley" says McGonagall. She walks up and the house yells Gryffindor. she smiles and walks over to the Gryffindor table.
"Violets Black." says McGonagall. I get scared and walk up. "oh Miss. Black. nice seeing you. lets see. not Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Hmm what to chose what to choose. Better be SLYTHERIN!"
All of my hopes disappeared. "What no I can't be in Slytherin. I don't belong."
"I'm sorry but that is what the hat chose for you." said McGonagall. I saw All of my friends faces and I felt horrible.
Draco's P.O.V
I felt Boulders lift off my shoulders when the hat called out Slytherin. finally a chance for only me and Violet to hang out without anyone getting in our way.
She sat by me and I smiled. she saw me and went to a good mood. I smiled at her. This is a good start to a new year.
