Draco's POV
I overheard Violet and Pansy's little chat about Violet and I am so mad that I can't even explain it.
When she said she was leaving I got up and followed her from a 'secretive' distance.
Ron caught up with her and they walked down to the common room.
When his lips touched her's I couldn't help but clench my fists.
I heard a faint cough and Blaise was behind them.
They finally quit making out and Violet went up to the common room.
A little while after I went up to the boys dormitories and I fell asleep.
Ron's POV
"Where were you mate?" Asked Fred and George. "I walked Violet down to the Slytherin common rooms." I said and they smirked. "what?" I asked.
"Nooothing." They say. I just shrug it off and I go take a hot shower.
I felt relaxed after that and I fell asleep almost instantly.
The next morning
Violet's POV
I woke up the next morning and I took a shower and I brushed my hair and I took a little more time getting ready today.
I bumped into Harry on the way to the dining hall and I stopped to talk. "hello Harry." I say. "hey Violet I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go to the Yule ball with me?" He asked.
I was surprised at first but then I took it in. "oh uh sure." I say and we walk off to the dining hall together.
Ron's POV
"Come on mate just get the courage to ask her before someone else does." Says George.
"Okay, I'm going." I say taking a deep breath. "um Violet could I talk to you for a second?" I ask.
"Sure." she says and we walk to a corner of the dining hall. "what's up?" She asks. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Yule ball with me?" I asked.
Her smile turned into a saddened expression. "oh Ron, Harry already asked me I'm sorry." She said.
"It's fine. I'll find someone else." I say and walk off.
Draco's POV
I'm going to do it I'm going to ask Violet to the Yule ball.
"Hey kitten," I say. "hey ferret."'she says playfully. "I was wondering," right then her face turned to horror kind of. "oh no." She says. "well I was wondering if you would like to go to the Yule ball with me?" I ask.
"Draco I'm sorry but Harry's already asked me." she said. "but look I will promise you this," she said. "i will save a dance for you." She said And I smiled.
I felt angry on the inside because she spends more time with Ron and Harry than she does with me.
I get up and go to the Slytherin common room without talking to anyone.
