November 11th. Today is the day. Today is the day that Scary Larry finally sees Karkat in person. Lying in his bed at the brink of dawn, Scary Larry grins. Karkat. Broadway Karkat. Today. TODAY!!! TODAY!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Scary Larry proceeds to laugh out loud like a maniac. He jumps out of his bed and runs to the shower, then forgets the people shut down his water supply. Oh well, hygiene isn't THAT important. Scary Larry spends the next few hours jumping around his house like a tiny child celebrating their 4th birthday. He giggles and giggles to the point his neighbors think there's a demon in his house. KARKAT. TODAY!!

Eventually, Marlon Random comes driving to Scary Larry's house. More pumped up than a car full of gas, he leaps into Marlon's vehicle of transportation.

"Hey Scary Larry, what's up with the bloo-"

        "BROADWAY KARKAT!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"

Slightly amused (but still disturbed) by Scary Larry's behavior, Marlon Random begins to        drive to the Cooliseum. As Marlon drives Scary Larry to the performance, he strikes up conversation.

"So uh... are you excited?" Marlon Random chuckles, "Sorry, that's a stupid question.

"Yeah, it is." Scary Larry responds.

...

"What's your favorite Broadwaykat song...?" Marlon Random awkwardly asks.

        "What do you think?"

        "I don't know..?"

        "Stop lying, it's obvious!"

        "..."

They proceed to never speak to each other again throughout the whole car ride. Marlon can't help but feel like a bad friend. He doesn't even know how to talk to one of his closest cronies. Scary Larry barely cares, however.

Finally, after what feels like decades, they arrive at the Cooliseum. There are food trucks around every corner, but they're all shady and only selling cheese. They sat in the 30th row, anxiously waiting for Karkat to enter the scene. As the time changed to 7:30 pm, the crowd of 30 people slowly went silent... and there he was. Broadway Karkat. The crowd went wild, of course, Scary Larry being the most wild of all. Karkat thanked the crowd and began his performance... It was beautiful. Everyone was stunned. Not only was his vocal range pitch perfect, but nobody knew he could be THIS loud.

Scary Larry in particular was amazed.

After about 20 songs, the performance ends. It was quite short, in fact, one would consider it being TOO short. This was not enough for Scary Larry, he needs more.

"Uh... Marlon, I need to go to the bathroom." Scary Larry lies.

"What?? You haven't eaten anything all day though." Marlon Random raises an eyebrow at Scary Larry.

"My body is different from the average human being, you know this."

"...Yeah. I'll be waiting in my car."

Scary Larry hurriedly runs to find Karkat. Finally, he spots the gray man himself.

"KAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!" Scary Larry screams at a volume louder than a jet engine.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!" Karkat screams even louder, "HOW DID YOU EVEN FIND ME??"

Scary Larry finally runs up face to face with Karkat. Out of breath, he laughs, "Oh, it's a PLEASURE to finally meet you! And with my immaculate sense of smell!"

        "UH." Karkat looks around nervously.

"I truly think you did wonderful throughout the entirety of your performance! ESPECIALLY during Ave Maryam! Just phenomenal!"

        "THANKS. GO AWAY."

"Not until I tell you in great detail on why I think your performance was MARVELOUS!"

        30 minutes later...
"HOLY SHIT" Karkat is completely appalled.

"And that's why I think your performance was amazing!"

"I... UH." his jaw is dropped, sure he's flattered but he's still both confused and terrified. Truly a rare combination for him, "THANK YOU? PLEASE FUCK OFF."

"Of course, my wonderful Vantas! Until next time."

        "NEXT TIME???"

Scary Larry leaps away, leaving Karkat there in complete and utter awe.

Scary Larry meets up with Marl-"WHAT THE HELL!?!?"

"Huh?" Scary Larry is taken aback by Marlon's rage, when he notices a police car in the background.

"I WAS WORRIED SICK!!! WHERE WERE YOU?" Marlon Random screams, the police officer approaching the scene.

"Talking to Karkat of course!" He beams, "Oh, I had a FABULOUS chat with hi-"

"OH MY GOD SCARY LARRY..." Marlon Random is at a complete loss for words. He stares at the officer with the most weary expression. He quickly apologizes and even gives the cop a $40 tip.

Scary Larry gets in the car. It was an even more quiet drive home. Scary Larry stares at the window in his car seat, watching the buildings fly by. He understands why Marlon is so mad at him, but for some reason he doesn't feel bad.

Marlon Random drops Scary Larry off. Scary Larry thanks Marlon for taking him to the show, but Marlon doesn't respond.

Scary Larry, exhausted and upset, flops onto his bed. He looks at his phone and sees he has a DM on Twitter... from Karkat.
