1. Midnight stalking

Nico's leg anxiously bobs up and down as he stares out the car windshield.

He starts to bite his thumb nail, eyeing the sketchy apartment building.

"I'm going in."

"No, you are not." The low voice replies back.

"Yes I am." the dirty haired blond snaps back and turns in his seat ready to open the passenger door.

The door locks with a click before he even put his hand on the handle.

"She's fine. Stop fucking worrying, it's irritating me." Zaid grumbles to his best friend with a sigh.

He continues petting his gray fluffy cat.

Nico looks to the feline when it begins to purr, comfortably laying on her owner's lap.

At least someone is having a good time.

Nico leans against his seat with a sigh "I still think we should go in."

Zaid rolls his eyes "And then what? admit we're stalking her like a bunch of creeps?"

"Yep, this is for her safety anyway." Nico shrugs back.

Zaid snorts. bullshit, he knows the reason they're sitting in this parked car in the middle of the night, Infront of a random ass building because Nico's scared the girl, he's been in love with since he was like fucking ten, is with a guy.

"Claudia can handle herself."

Nico ignores Zaid, still eyeing the building.

"Soo why are we stalking Claudia?"

"Fuck!" Nico and Zaid shout at the same time, jumping at the new voice.

They snap their heads to behind them, eyes wide but then they furrow, then turn into glares.

"What the fuck are you doing here!" Zaid growls at his younger cousin.

Gage smiles sheepishly, gulping slightly at Zaid's glare.

The once peaceful cat that was purring had jumped up at the commotion, now hissing at Gage.

Gage frowns at the cat "I fucking hate that thing, it's evil."

"Princess is not an it." Zaid defends his cat, petting her head softly to calm her down.

"Still can't believe you named your cat princess." Another voice speaks out of nowhere.

Suddenly a hooded figure is sticking his head over the seat from being grouched down in the trunk.

"Oh, for fuck sake." Nico sighs, running his hand over his face before turning away from the two youngest Blackwells.

Zaid grinds his teeth as he looks at Grey.

Why the fuck do they keep popping out of nowhere?

"I swear to god if there's another person behind there, I'm shooting." Zaid states, face serious.

Grey rolls his eyes "Relax bro, it's just us."

Gage chuckles and Grey joins him.

Zaid's eye twitches.

Nico spins back around in his seat "No, not relax bro. you know what your parents would do if they knew you were here right now, kill us. Especially your psychotic dad." Nico rants out, pointing to Grey at the end of his sentence.

Grey's dad, Graham has had it out for Nico since he was a kid.

Grey and Gage stay quiet while trying to hide their amused grins.
