Chapter 27 It's NOT What You Think
JOHN'S POV
Katy run away, I supposed that she would go back home so I got in the car and drive back home. On my way there I keep looking in case I saw her but I end up at home by myself.
I got into the house to find it empty. I decided to wait some minutes and if Katy didn't come back I'll go look for her or something. I've got to do something about this, but what? Maybe I could take her somewhere in a vacation so she can forget about everything for a while. Yeah that what I'm gonna do I'm gonna take her to a nice and relaxing place.
I run upstairs, grab a backpack and started packing my clothes. Once I'm done I close it and take it downstairs with me.
I started pacing around in the kitchen when I got another phone call. I checked the ID and saw it was my mother again.
"I don't want to talk to you, you've made Katy suffer." I say harshly as I picked up the phone.
"John it's dad, look I know what your mother did and I don't agree with her, so I've talked to her and she wants to apologize." My dad said trying to calm me down.
"Fine, I'll let her talk" I said giving in. I heard my dad pass the phone to my mom.
"Hi honey." She said in her sweet voice.
"Mhm" I simply said back.
"Look I'm really sorry I didn't mean to say all those things." She said.
"Well that won't solve much, you have no idea of how much this had affected Katy!" I said getting angry.
"I know I know that's why I wanted for you two to come for the weekend so we can talk it out"
"I don't know, I don't think Katy would want to go."
"Please John I'm really sorry and I want thing to go back to the way they were."
"Okay, I'll try and convince her, when do you want us to go?"
"This weekend?"
"Emm yeah sure. Okay I'll see you in two days. Love you bye."
Guess we're going to my parents place instead. How am I gonna do to convince Katy to go?
I sat on the chair and put my hand on my face. Ohhh this is so stressful.
Suddenly I heard a loud bang coming from outside the kitchen. I got up an walked over to where I've heard the noise. As I walked out the kitchen I saw Katy on the floor. She must have trip over.
She looked up at me, eyes full of tears, then she quickly got up.
"Katy I-I" I said bit she cut me off.
"No John just save it an leave" she said angrily and run upstairs leaving me confused. What did I do wrong now? I looked down and noticed that my backpack was there an it was opened. Ohh I get everything now! The backpack, she probably heard me at the phone she thinks I'm leaving her!
I run upstairs and got into our bedroom. The bathroom light is on, I walked over to the door and knock the door.
"Kate can we talk?" I asked her.
"No! Just leave, like you were planning to!" She scream on the other side, her voice sounded like she's been crying.
"It's not what you think! Let me in and I'm gonna explain it to you" I tried to convince her. There was silence for a while and then she opened the door.
She look so sad, her eyes were puffy, her make up was all over her face. I looked at her eyes and instead of seeing her sparkling, full of life blue eyes I saw dull sad eyes. Her arms, they were covered in blood. I felt terrible for doing this to her but it wasn't my intention.
"Aww babe" I said and pulled her into a hug but she pulled me away.
"Yeah okay, let's go sit down and I'll explain everything to you" she nodded her head and walked over to bed. I sat down next to her and explain her everything.

20 MINUTES LATER
"So you aren't leaving me?" She asked softly.
"No babe I love you with all my heart I'll never leave you." I assured her.
"Oh. But I'm not sure about going to your parents place" she said looking down.
"Hey there's nothing to be worried about, I talked with her and she's sorry and she really wants to apologize to you." I said hugging her.
"Okay, when are we leaving?" She said smiling cutely.
"Tomorrow morning. 6 am" I said.
"6 am? Ohh come on! Why so early?!" She wined making me laugh.
"Oh come on don't be such a baby" I said playfully as I lay her down on the bed getting on top of her.
"Now I think your forgetting something" I said kissing her neck.
"Oh yeah? What is it?" She asked, I took her left hand in mine and pull it closer to her face showing her the diamond rind.
"We're engaged now, we have to celebrate!" I said smiling widely.
"Oh right! About that, are we telling your family tomorrow?"
"I don't know" I said sitting on my knees. Is it a good idea to tell them?
"What if we see how everything goes and if it's okay we'll tell them" she said.
"Sounds good to me. Now where were we?" I said pulling her down again but she stopped me.
"It's late and we have to wake up early tomorrow. But if you're lucky, I could let you shower with me tomorrow morning" she said giving me a wink.
"Okay, okay, but let me do something first" I said getting up from bed and walking into the bathroom. Minutes later I come back and sat down un bed next to her.
"Give me your arms" I told her. She did as I told her so I started to clean them. After cleaning I put some peroxide on them so they won't get infected, I also put some of the cream that the doctor gave me.
"What's that cream?" Katy asked.
"It will help to heal the cuts, hopefully they won't be noticeable for summer" I answer her back.
"Do you really think they will heal for summer?" She asked innocently.
"If you use it regularly" I said as I finished putting the bandage.
"Ok you're done" I said putting the first aid kit on the bedside table.
"Thank you." She said giving me a small smile and kissing my cheek.
"Anything for you nugget" I said smiling back and kissing her soft lips. "Good night"
"Good night, I love you"
