Chapter 8 Ellen

It´s now January 25th and we´re back to work, we´ve already told our friends about us getting back together, it was a New Years surprise. They were shocket but happy for us, espessially Shannon, to my surprise. She said something about how worried she was for Katy ´cause she was datting Diplo and she wasn´t sure about him.
Today Katy left early after breakfast she had lots things to do, so she said she would come back home around 6 in the evening. Me on the other hand only worked until midday so I had the afternoon all by myself.I didn´t really know what to do it was 1 pm and I was so damn bored. So I decided that I was going to have lunch and then take a nap or something.
I prepared myself some pasta, when I finished I cleaned everything up and was the dishes. After that I decided to take a nap.

Two hours later I woke up. I looked at the watch on my bedside table and decided that I was going to watch tv until Katy come home.
I was watching tv when the doorbell rang. That´s weird I wasn´t expecting anyone and neither was Katy, she would have told me.
I walked to the door, I wasn´t what you´d call “presentable”, I was wearing some sweat pants that were still wet because I got them wet when I was washing the dishes after lunch, I had spill some sause from the pasta I had eaten over my white t-shirt and my hair was a total mess from the nap I had taken.
I opened the door and became face to face with a woman, with short blonde hair. I was face to face with Ellen DeGeneres. What was she doing at Katy´s house? And why was she here with two camera guys? I don´t know but she looked really surprised when she saw me at the door.
“Hello John! How are you? Isn´t this Katy´s house?” She said with I smile on her face but she finished her sentence with a confused look.
“Uhh yeah i´m fine, thanks, but what are you doing here?” I asked, I was shocked I really wasn´t expecting her at all. What did she want?
“Oh yeah sorry, i´m here because I wanted to know if the rumours were true and like I didn´t have time on my show to invite you or katy I tought it will be a good idea if I appeared at Katy´s house and make the interview here, of couse it is a surprise so I would catch you like a normal day in your lifes” She explain herself.
“Oh so you´re going to tape us the whole day and then show it at your show?” I asked still a little confused.
“Yes I want to show the people how is a day in a celebrity´s life, it´s a new segment on my show I appeared at their houses and spent a day with them and then took the best of it and put it on the show” She said
“Okay then, come in. I was watching tv. Katy had some work to do but she will be back around 5 or 6” I said as I took a step aside so she could get in.
KATY´S POV
After this long day I was finally going home, I was tired I've up since 6 am. Thankfully that I got to finish early because I had to do a commertial for Cover girl with ellen and the other girls but they called and said that Ellen had to cancel so we weren´t able to do it.
I got into my driveway and I was gretted by Moose, John´s dog, but I noticed something weird, Moose was outside and John never leaves him out unless that there is someone he doesn´t know at the house.
He´s a goos dog and with me is really cute, everytime he sees me after I get from work he get happy and starts jumping me and liking my hands. Most of the time he jumps on me making me fall and then he starts giving me kissies.
