Marshall's POV:

The puppies took me inside the watch. I didn't know what they were going to do with me; I just knew that we would talk about my love for Everest, which made me afraid and anxious.

Rocky and Zuma were standing in front of me and opened the elevator door, then went in. I felt under pressure as if a boulder was about to crush me. Because of my state of mind, I didn't do my classic wipeout and I got into the elevator with the rest of the puppies still standing.

The elevator went up to the top. As I went up I could see the snowy landscape around Adventure Bay. For a few seconds, my mind began to wander in the most bizarre thoughts, but all this was interrupted by the sound of the elevator that signaled that we had reached the top floor of the lookout, that is the mission room.

When the elevator doors were fully opened, the rest of the puppies and I went out and sat in front of the big screen that Ryder uses to explain the missions. Soon after, Rocky got up from his seat and positioned himself in front of the screen. Pressing a few buttons turned the device on, and shortly afterward images appeared on the screen that I never expected to see.

The first image showed Everest scratching my ear. Some memories of that moment came back to me, I had been frozen to freeze tag and not being able to move I could not eradicate the itch from my ear, but Everest kindly helped me. It was an awkward and pleasant moment at the same time.

Rocky also showed a second image where Everest winked at me. I was happy and embarrassed at the same time when Everest turned to me that wink and my heart exploded with joy.

When Rocky finished showing the images, he turned to me with a smirk on his face. I knew exactly why he did it, he was convinced that he had framed me with little evidence. My focus was on the rest of the puppies staring me in the eye as if I were going to say something.

I stood there staring them in the eye, not knowing what to say. It was Rocky who interrupted the awkward silence that had been created within the room.

"Marshall, look at me." He said catching my eye. "I showed you and the rest of the group those images to make you understand that there is a strong understanding between you two, so you should not be afraid to express your feelings to Everest."

I didn't give Rocky an immediate response. I knew there was a special bond between us created by my love for her. I finally answered Rocky, who was staring me in the eye waiting for my words.

"I truly love Everest. My feelings for her began shortly after I first saw her. I've been trying to tell her for the past few years, but I've always feared that my clumsy attitude might compromise everything. So I've always given up, I dream of one day succeeding." I said.

Rocky and the rest of the puppies stared at me with a compassionate smile, as they understood my mood.

"Don't worry dude, I understand what you're feeling, but we're gonna help you," Zuma said thinking of Ella.

"We'll help you declare yourself to Everest," Rubble said.

Chase and Rocky nodded their heads in approval. This made me happy because I knew I had friends to rely on in my time of need.

"Thanks, guys, I'll be in debt with you all," I replied.

"Don't worry. Friends always help each other." Rocky replied. "Now let's get to work."

"Yes, Captain Rocky," I said joking.

"But what do we do now? How can we help Marshall?" Zuma asked.

Rocky stopped for a few seconds to stare at Zuma, his gaze lost in thought as if he were looking for an answer to Labrador's question. "I don't know yet, but we have a puppy here who can help us," Rocky said looking at Chase.
