Marshall, with the help of the puppies, had just finished training to talk to Everest and manage all the emotions that were going through him at that time. The mere thought of having to talk to Everest to declare himself made him very afraid, but the Dalmatian knew that he had to be brave and confess his feelings.

For him, confessing his feelings to his beloved would also have been a liberation. For too long he had been hiding inside himself the desire for love and with time had become an increasingly complicated burden to manage. When he saw Everest, his heart was pounding and he could not think clearly, his thoughts having been overcome by his loving feelings.

"Hey Skye, we've just finished, take Everest to the lookout entrance," Chase said via his pup tag.

"Roger Chase," Skye replied.

"Pups, Skye is taking Everest to the lookout entrance. Now it's your turn, Marshall." Chase said looking with a smile at his best friend.

"All right. I can do it. I'll confess my feelings to Everest." Marshall said to the puppies and himself, to encourage and convince himself that he could do it.

"That's the spirit, and remember what we taught you," Zuma added.

"Stay calm, group your courage, look at her eyes, and say those words," Marshall replied.

"Well done, Marshall, I see the student has heard the lesson perfectly," Rocky said playfully.

"Of course I did. Do you doubt my listening skills, Rocky?" Marshall replied annoyed by his friend's statement.

The half-caste realized that he had been too direct with Marshall, feeling guilty apologized. "No Marshall, I'm sorry if I offended you," Rocky replied.

"Apology accepted,"

"Pups, we have to go before Everest reaches the entrance of the lookout. Otherwise, our plan will not work." Rubble warned, looking at the elevator.

"Yes Rubble, let's go," Zuma replied, gesturing to his friends to indicate to reach the elevator.

The puppies reached the elevator and went inside. Again, Marshall didn't trip, he was too busy thinking about what to say and controlling his emotions. Even though he believed he was calm and ready, he was lying to himself, he was deceiving his mind, because he wasn't ready for what was going against him.

In the meantime, Everest and Skye had arrived in front of the main gate of the lookout. Skye had placed herself in a position where Everest had her back to the door so that he would not see the rest of the puppies inside the building.

The Cockapoo distracted Everest, talking about girl things, while the puppies came out of the elevator behind them. Marshall stopped to stare at the glass door, while the rest of the puppies came out through another door.

Chase, Zuma, Rubble, and Rocky went around the lookout, and without being seen, they went to hide behind a bush. Only Chase exposed himself to tell Skye to join them.

"Everest, I need to go and do my business, you stay here. I have a feeling the puppies are coming." Skye said.

"Okay Skye, I look forward to seeing what you have in store for me," Everest replied.

With an excuse, Skye walked away and went after a large bush, where the rest of the puppies were waiting for the moment when Marshall would get out of the watch and start talking to Everest.

"Hey Skye," Zuma said.

"Hi pups, I've done my part, what do we have to do now?" She asked.

"The plan is simple, we will look from behind this bush, the scene, so as not to let us discover by Everest, while the two lovers will talk to each other and blossom love," Rocky replied.
