In all my 15 years of stupidity ( yeah, I figured out I'm stupid), I think I just did the most stupid thing ever.

I bite my teeth and mentally slap myself as Cyra waits for me to explain myself.

I rack my brain for a cover-up, but my brain just ditched me. Why is it when I need my brain the most, it decides to take a vacation.

I gulped. "I..uh..um.."

"Cyra! Could you come here for a minute?" Mum yelled from downstairs.

I sighed in relief. Right on time mum. Cyra gives me a strange look and then walks to my door. As she opens it, she yells, "I'm coming," and then she leaves.

As soon as the door closes, I fall back on my bed and land on my phone. Urgh.

I take it. "It's all your fault!" I say to it. Whiskers suddenly jumps onto my bed.

I rub his head. "Hey, whiskers. Wassap?" He purred and lay beside me, ready to sleep again.

I sigh, I should get some rest, too. I know Cyras is not a monster, but I really don't know what reaction to expect from her tomorrow, considering what my stupid mouth said.

I whisper in Whiskwrs ear. "Pray for me, buddy. Tomorrow, you may not even see me again. "

Whiskers turned his head away from me. I doubt if he cared.

--------------

Cyra wasn't mad. Neither was she snobby. She acted like everything was normal, like she always did.

I was expecting her to corner me in my room and ask for an explanation, but she just greeted me warmly.

I had to smack myself twice to be sure I was awake.

"Cyra, are you mad at me, and you're waiting for the right opportunity to snap?" I ask her as she drove me to school.

She looks confused. "Why would I be mad at you?"

I shrug. "What I said last night. I didn't mean it, but-"

She interrupted me by laughing. "Oh, that? I'm just glad you're finally growing up."

"I am? I mean, you are?"

She nods. "Yup," she pulls the car to a halt. "Alright, out you go. "

"I get out. Don't forget -"

"To pick you up? I won't. Luke doesn't come on Tuesdays ."

So Luke has been coming to the house for a while? I want to ask her how long she's been with Luke, but she drives off.

--------------

"You didn't come to my house," Eva says disappointedly.

I face palmed myself. "I forgo- wait. I don't know where you live. "

"I texted you the address," she says and shows me the address on my phone. "I might have gotten your phone number when you weren't looking," she laughs.

I don't know whether to laugh along with her or to call her a psycho.

She keeps talking, but I get distracted when I see Nike sitting with his friends at a table.

I watch him as he talks, laughs, and have fun with his friends, and I actually wish I was there sitting and laughing with him too. I'm not sure I think him hot like the other girls did, but he was good-looking.

All of a sudden, a girl in an extremely short and tight mini dress walks to him. She tries to kiss his face, but he stands up and walks away.

My eyes trail him as he walks out of the cafeteria. I don't know why, but I stand up and make to follow him.

Katherine grabbed my arm. "Where are you going?" She asks.

I actually don't have an answer to question." Um...the toilet," I reply and break free.

Outside the cafeteria, I search around for any sight of Nike, but I don't see him again.

I turn to go back to the cafeteria when I see him standing with his back against the wall. I freeze on the spot as I stare at him.

He looked really cute. The way he stared so intently at his phone and the way his hair fell on his face made him look really hot.

He doesn't notice me because he was so focused on his phone, so I just made to leave.

"Oh, hey,"

Uh-oh. I turn around again. "Hi."

He stares at me like he's making his mind up about something. "Do I know you?" He asks.

Of course you do. I was the crazy girl that jumped on you in front of the while cafeteria because I thought he would bleed to death.

I obviously can't tell him that, so I just shake my head. "Uh...no. I-Uh, I doubt"

Suddenly, he clicks his fingers. "Wait, you're that girl, right? The one who jumped on me. That's you, right?"

I smile. He caught me.

"Yes. Um... Nice to see you again. I guess, " I say. "Alos, sorry about that day,  I was really stupid,"

"Actually, I have to thank you," he says, and I'm confused. Thank me?

"Why would you thank me?"

"Tate. " He says. "Even though we've broken up, she acts like we're still dating." He stopped then laughs.

"Actually, when you jumped on me, I kinda told her tha-"

"Babe!?"

A girls voice interrupts him, and he looks frustrated. "Well, I gotta go. " He walled away quickly, and all I could do was stare.
