4 - The New Student

That next morning, Bently was awake and ready for classes by 5 am. "You do know classes don't start until 7, right?" Malik sleepily muttered. "I know I know. But I'm just so...so excited for the new student to arrive that I just couldn't sleep." Bently replied. "Just...don't get your hopes up, okay? I don't want you to get hurt if the new student ends up not being your friend." Malik told him. Bently sighed. "I...I know." He softly replied.
By 7 am, both Bently and Malik were awake and ready. The two headed off to their seperate first period classes. Bently sat in the back like usual, and pretty soon, a young Chinese boy sat beside him. Bently looked up at the boy. 'That's him. That's Cain.' He thought. "Hi." The boy softly said. "Hi." Bently softly replied. Bently smiled a bit. "I can't believe you're actually...here." Bently said. "Well believe it. Because I am here." Cain replied.
After classes, Cain and Bently went back to Bently's dorm. "I..am honestly not surprised it looks like this." Cain said with a giggle, noticing all of the Panic! At The Disco posters and pictures of Ryan Ross on the walls. Bently giggled a bit. "Heh..yeah." He softly muttered, sitting on the bed. Cain smiled and sat beside him. The two ended up talking for hours nonstop. They didn't even notice when Malik came back into the room. "Hey boys." Malik said. The two looked up. "Oh hey." Bently said. "Who's this?" Cain asked. "Oh this is my roommate Malik." Bently replied. "Hey." Malik said. Cain smiled. "Nice to meet you." Cain replied. "You too." Malik said with a soft nod.
"It's getting late..I should go to my room." Cain said, getting up and going to his own room. Bently sighed softly. "You missed him, didn't you?" Malik asked. Bently nodded. "I did. I really did."
