Chapter 16: Stay with me

Utau's POV

I trembled looking up at the cold blue eyes staring down at me. Kujo-san left to another room quickly after being called by Riku. I hear the door beside me open.

"Utau?! Mom??" Gaku-nii's voice called out I stopped shaking and looked back to see my brother's face. Gaku-nii's eyes widened after making eye contact with me. His stepped up standing between mom and me.

"Gaku...I don't mind you showing respect to me, but you are not legally obligated to call me that." She said coldly, raising a hand mom dismissed her attendants. I flinched feeling Tenn standing beside me while staring at my mother.

She sighed walking in our direction. "Tch....what a pathetic daughter to this day you still refuse to face me always hiding behind Gaku."

"Gaku...who is this?" Tenn asked.

"She's Utau's mom....Utau and I have the same father, but our mothers are different..." Gaku-nii said quietly. "Haha..What are you doing here then Shizuka-san?" Gaku-nii asked her.

"For an interview, I dislike personally coming to places like this. But it's good publicity." She answered then looked at me. "Utau. Come here right now." I flinched, but my body followed her orders as if I was possessed.

"Utau..." Tenn tried to call out to me, but it was blurred.

"Yes....Mother..."I asked looking down.

"Don't call me that, you were excommunicated Utau. I'm utterly disappointed in you, it's an embarrassment. My own daughter is frolicking on television being an Idol. Selling herself like she's some thing. The shame you bring to me." She spoke harshly, though this was the usual. She never approved of me.

"It's not....I have fans who accept me..Shiz-" My mother put her hand up to silence me.

"Do you have any idea how hard it was to live with a daughter like you. Everything I did was to protect you, to keep you from that disgusting attention.....I told you I warned you." She said. When in reality all she did was discipline me and hide me from the world. "I had a future for you." She scoffed getting heated. All I could do was tremble it was as if she had been towering over me.

"Excuse my Ma'am." Tenn interjected.

"Oh..you're one of Gaku's teammates. It's nice to meet you I am Utau's biological mother Shizuka Kurosawa." Mom introduced herself.

"Kurosawa-san. I don't see why you're disappointed in Tsukiyomi-san she's-" Seeing the veins growing on Mom's head I stopped Tenn. He looked down at me. "Am I saying something wrong?"

"Tenn...Kujo-kun...It's fine really...I'm fine.." I said.

"Hmm...well I've spent enough time here. Utau...you're still keeping up with your practices correct. Try not to disappoint me any more." With that she walked away. Once she left my line of sight I let out a sigh or relief.

"Utau...are you ok?" Gaku-nii asked me reaching out.

"I-I'm fine....you two should go check on Kujo-san and Riku. I'm going back to my dressing room." I smiled a fake smile. Tenn looked at me concerned, but went away with Gaku-nii none the less.

Opening the door and shutting it behind me I felt a buzz on my phone.

'Tell me if you need anything....I love you.' -Tenn.

Smiling softly I let out a few laughs though soon those laughs turned into cries. Sliding down the door I curled up in a ball sobbing. Why was I crying..why.

"I hate this.." I muttered through the sobs. I don't need to be weak...I can't be weak. I rubbed the tears out of my eyes and stood up.

"Knock knock."
