Trust me

Pulling back his hands Naruto moved a bit more to the light, seeing everyone more clearly. Sasuke side eyed Naruto but choose nothing to say. By the passing of time Naruto became pretty much familiar with the strangers around him. But still he kept a distance between them.
Is ane too one of them?
He often questioned himself. But his mind wasn't ready to accept it because in his eyes she was innocent. After the tiring day he was back at the bed facing the ceiling above him. He was given a seperate room by his demand.
Why is my life such a pain in ass? What have I done in my previous life? Looks like I am paying for my past sins.
Sighing in annoyingly he stood up and walked to the attached balcony. The moon light was giving a better view of outside. Since he hasn't been out he was surprised to meet with a bunch of trees.
What? Is he nuts? Are we in between a forest? That fucking idiot. He got some brain cells. Now how I will escape from this shit?
Deep in his thoughts he failed to see the same person he was cursing inside his head was watching him silently from another balcony. The view of Naruto under the moonlight was a complete bliss for Sasuke. The occasional swaying of blonde locks, the reflected dark sky in those ocean blue eyes, slightly parted lips, entirely he was a real angel in Sasuke's eyes. After all it is said that we are the most prettiest in our loved one's eyes. In their both heads two totally different things were running. One thinking to run away while other want to protect him at any cost. What will win in the end? Heart of a devil who want to be loved by his angel or heart of the angel who want to run away from the grip of the devil?!

Next day he was woken up by his ane. For a second he thought it was Sasuke who he will see first. He didn't knew why he was always expecting Sasuke's presence around him. It was like every time Sasuke was with him he felt kinda happy and also shy. Walking around the mansion like house he tried to find a way out from there. Suigetsu was close behind him. He was released from basement after threat from Sasuke. After a few thinking he choose to talk a while with the shark man. Resting under the shade of a tree he encouraged Suigetsu to sit with him.
"Well Sui how do you feel here?"
"What do you mean?"
"Like have you ever wanted to go from here?"
"Hm? No if I be honest"
"No? But how could you live with a killer?"
"Killer?"
Oh shit I spilled it out
"Who is the killer you meant?"
"Just forget what I said"
"Be honest Naruto"
"If only you promise that a third person won't learn about this"
"Ofcourse they won't know, atleast from my mouth for sure"
"Hm.. I heard that Sasuke is a killer"
"Only killer?"
"Hm?"
"Boy he is far from that"
"Is he a good man? I knew it. After all he doesn't give away any killer vibe"

"That's right. I promise on my life that he won't hurt you, in any way"
"Why so sure?"
"Kid you sitting before me is the biggest proof I could put infront of you"
"What do you mean?"
"You will get it in the future"
"Locking me here is the biggest crime he did. He will only hurt me if he is going to keep me here. Ain't I also a human? I need my freedom"
"Hey Naruto do you want to know how I ended up here?"
"I didn't thought about that"
"Hear me out I was an orphan, roaming around the street. I barely got any food that time. At some point I thought I will die. But one day God sent Sasuke to me. He raised me. To show my gratitude I sweared my life to serve him. He didn't forced me to join him nor rejected me. It was my own decision to follow him. He may look cruel from outside. But he has a soft heart from inside. He just need some heat from love to melt. And there is only one person who can control him"
Control him? That person must be even scarier than him. I wonder who that person is
"What you say Naruto, let's go back? Sasuke isn't here. So better stay inside with the bulky ones"

Talking about random things both entered inside the mansion. Their cheerful chatting was interrupted when Naruto was came face with a snake faced man. The weird eyes staring down him send a chill in his spine. As an instinct he hid behind Suigetsu who put a hand before Naruto in a protective manner. The creepy man eyed both a while and smiled maniacly.
"Who is this new facesss...?"
"None of your business Orochimaru"
"Come on Suigetsu show some respect to the elders"
"Who let you in?"
"I don't need anyone's permission to enter inside. After all I am Sasuke's uncle"
Sasuke's uncle? Gosh he look nothing like him
"That doesn't explain everything Orochimaru"
"You didn't told me who this beauty here is"
Orochimaru pointed at Naruto which made him scoot more close to Suigetsu. Feeling the uncomfortness Suigetsu decided to end things fast.
"Like I said none of your business "
"Aww that's so sadsss..."
With a fake pout Orochimaru started to walk to the entrance. But didn't forget to pat Naruto's head and whisper in his ears "we will meet soon pretty". Those eyes brought some blur scenes to his mind, like he has seen those sickening smile and those creepy eyes before, way too before.

When the evening came Sasuke came running through the front door, literally breaking every thing that blocked his way.
"Where is Naruto?" He asked Suigetsu who was just chilling with a cup of tea.
"Man breath first"
Sasuke took some long breaths and stand straight, the poker face back in place.
"Now tell me or do I want to force it out?"
"That's better. Well he is in back yard. Why the sudden enquire?"
"I heard that Orochimaru came here"
"Ahh that snake I swear one day I will kill him if you don't Sasuke. At this rate I am sure you will do it fast"
"Hn"
Sasuke walked to the backyard which was painted violet with the bloomed tulips. Some wisteria trees was bloomed here and there, mixing their sweet smell in the air. Totally the garden will give you the peace in this dark world. Naruto was standing under a wisteria tree, a crown with some wild and colorful flower on his head. He was giving out soft yet dark aura. Unconsciously every one would like to kneel before him and submit theirself. His back was facing Sasuke, yet he could feel that Naruto was happy that time. Magic of their bond or whatever. Feeling the soft touch on his shoulder Naruto turn back to meet the onyx eyes. Just looking at those eyes Naruto felt warm in that slightly cold environment.
"What are you doing here angel?"
The gentle voice made him flinch a little cause he was so lost in those dark piths.
"Oh I was treating this little fox"
Naruto slowly opened his arms and a little kit peaked out his head. It was looking around but didn't jump away from Naruto's hand.
"There there little one. See this is Sasuke"
Naruto gently hold the fox higher to show him to Sasuke. The kit looked at Sasuke and held out it's little paws.
"Sasuke open your arms. It is saying to hold him"
Sasuke opened his arms and delicately took it in his embrace. The kit squirm around a little and settle in his hold, it's eyes slowly drooping down in the flattening musk smell of the older. Soon the rhythmic breathing of the kit took over the whole garden.
"It slept" The entire time Naruto was watching the kit. Faintly Naruto traced his fingers over the wounds of the kit. His fingers started to glow as the wounds healed completely. Sasuke watched Naruto with a proud smile.
"You have healing power?"
"Hm. I don't know how but I can heal the wounds. Isn't it amazing? But always it's said that great powers hold great sacrifice. Even with this misterious powers I couldn't save my parents. I failed to protect them. To me this power is a curse, a curse bounded to me till my death"
Sasuke covered Naruto's eyes with the free hand and slowly pulled him into his chest.
"Don't worry Naruto. I will protect you from the evils. You just need to believe in me. Just let me do it. And I promise you won't regret it"
"No Sasuke. You don't know about me yet. All you know is just my name. You are welcoming your own death by being with me Sasuke. Just let me go. I will live hidden from this world's eyes"

In those protective hold Naruto let all his guards down. Sasuke was providing him something, something which was he searching for. He was making Naruto giddy just by his one look. He was compelling Naruto to just spill all his truths and drown in those musk smell.
But will it be wise to trust a stranger blindly?
