Apus: The Bird of Paradise Constellation

Apus is a small and faint constellation located in the southern celestial hemisphere. In this informative essay, we will explore the historical context, notable stars, and celestial significance of Apus, shedding light on its place in both ancient mythology and modern astronomy.

Historical Significance:
Apus, the constellation representing the bird of paradise, has a relatively short history compared to some other constellations. It was first introduced in the 16th century by Dutch astronomer Petrus Plancius and later incorporated into Johann Bayer's star atlas, Uranometria, in 1603. The bird of paradise, native to New Guinea, was likely a mysterious and exotic symbol for European astronomers at the time.

Notable Stars and Features:
Apus is a modest constellation and lacks particularly bright stars. However, it contains some interesting celestial objects. Alpha Apodis, the brightest star in Apus, is a binary star system consisting of two yellow giants. The constellation also features several binary and variable stars that provide valuable data for astronomers studying stellar evolution.

Astronomical Significance:
Apus is part of the southern hemisphere's night sky and is not visible from most northern latitudes. Its position in the Milky Way makes it an essential reference point for astronomers and stargazers in the Southern Hemisphere. While it may not have the historical or mythological significance of some other constellations, it adds diversity to the tapestry of the night sky.

Apus, the bird of paradise constellation, may not be as well-known as some of its counterparts, but it still contributes to our understanding of the celestial sphere. Its modest collection of stars and its presence in the southern skies provide a unique perspective for astronomers and sky enthusiasts in the Southern Hemisphere. Like all constellations, Apus serves as a reminder of the vastness and diversity of the universe that continues to captivate and inspire us.

My hands crafting this art of poem in my youth,
Had a thousands of injuries scarred in my heart in youth,
There were millions of words residing in my mouth,
Oh my deepest wish was to never let my youth go south.

There were millions of fun infested seeds to sow,
Tragically, infected by insecurity and solitude to grow,
Sad moments planted itself in my soul in rows,
Wishing for no one to cut my youthful phase now.

They say youth is the time for enjoyment,
But all my youth is facing by cruel punishments,
There were no seconds passed by wishing for ammendments,
But selfless fun and friends was the requirement.

Can't be selfless in this selfish world for anything,
Youth should be filled with positive memorable something,
All I had to retrospect to see everything,
I realised my meaning of youth was nothing.

I cherished every single moment at spot,
But nothing of those remained in my pot.
Why my mind is always filled with those rots?,
When I had many positive moments in the dark dot.

For everyone out there this is a wish,
Please don't take my youth away for your wish,
Please don't add your poison to my dish,
As I'm just in a free youth ocean as an independent fish.

I'll not let anything take my shine away,
I'll reach out with enthusiasm and energy to everything far away,
No one even if tried can make my youth sway,
If you ever succeed, I'll always find a way.

My youth is a force that is unstoppable,
I have passion running through that's undamagable.
For everyone, I'll not let my youth be a disable,
I'll enjoy my youth to the fullest and beyond being capable.

Spending my youth with crafting verses,
There is also studies in another verse,
Let them not be in the parallel universe,
I wish for me to be the master of my multiverse.
