They've seen a glimpse of their reflection- one which was illuminated with a lightly dim fluorescent lights at the ceiling. The elevators interiors seems to look like a mirror maze that one would feel a bit dizzy, that one had seen different perspectives of their frame in any corner and walls, yet the quartet cared none of it. They savoured this short ride to catch up towards each other, to ask if how are they doing, oblivious about what was about to happen to them.

Inside, it was filled with nothing but excited chatters and laugh; reminiscing those good old days that they used to experience. All those memories they thought have long forgotten flashed before their eyes as if they were in a cinema; all the bad ones and good ones, the embarrassing and the wholesome- though Magnus had a record for having the most moments that made Briar feel the second-hand embarrassment, that feeling when you couldn't just do anything but to pretend that you've never known that one person in your whole damn life and look up on the sky as if you're fascinated by it.

And Briar felt like feeling it again, as she just faced one of the corners of the elevator and stayed there as Magnus danced Twice's 'Dance the Night Away' in a rather unacceptable an exaggerated gestures; with Nolan beatboxing and Amaia acting like a cameraman with her phone, filming a music video. One could tell, that Briar yet again felt like she's surrounded by wild and not domesticated children in which she unfortunately followed every day of her life.

"You can do better than that!" Amaia exclaimed, her hold on her phone shaky from laughing at how Magnus would exaggerately sway his hip, given that the boy didn't actually know how to dance like the half of them.

And in result, Magnus even danced weirdly; bringing Nolan in a laughing fit and forgetting about his job on giving them a beat. He'd mutter the lyrics, though not entirely and precise, whilst Briar panicked as she overthink about the elevator free falling by all Magnus' big movements as she turned to face the trio.

"Magnus, will you stop that? You're making me think about getting a life insurance!"

"Oh come on, you're a killjoy." Magnus would say, grinning teasingly at her in which made the girl scowl. "A killjoy, huh?"

Briar usually wouldn't associate herself in any other stupid things that the three would get theirselves into, she would be watching them with a look of both disappointment and amusement or would feel flustered about all the energy they would give off. But this time, a little change wouldn't hurt her; Briar found herself standing infront of Magnus and smirked. "Let's see who gets to channel their inner Nishimura Riki within."

And with that, Briar set her introverted self aside; dancing to a rather deformed version of the same song's choreography. That even Magnus was bamboozled by her sudden advances yet the latter just laughed in both disbelief and surprise.

And yet, after a second long of their short dance battle did they stopped and chuckled at their own antics. Nolan could've sworn that whoever is in charge on the elevator's surveillance camera would be flabbergasted by the show they put on.

The quartet looked at each other, causing another wave of giggles resonating from them; Amaia couldn't help but sigh in contentment. Breaking the incoming silence that she know was about to unfold.

"So uhh- i know this is random but, have y'all believed in multiverse or other life forms perhaps?"

The corner of Briar's lips seemed to go upward at the mention of the theory, she got to admit that it is possible despite everyone claiming that the idea is absurd; after all, the universe is vast. Some unexplored like the oceans that only had 5 or 10% of discovery, though the study of the outer space were more focused. Nolan considered the theory as well, not because of what he read in science books or any online articles he didn't if it is fact or not but because he had quite a fascination with the Avatar movies- he believes that Pandora is real.
