-Chapter 16-

-Addison's POV- 

I went home after being at the record label for four hours, it was tiring, Janice was a big help on writing the chorus for me and worked on the lines a bit for me. I'm back at the apartment in the living room in my booklet continuing to write over. Not going to lie, it was kind of hard because I'm such a bad writer, my song is about having a crush on someone. In my eyes, it's about Jordan on how I was infatuated with him from the start of our relationship even before when I was a fan and still a fan for him still, but I knew getting with him with have potential risks and consequences because the Blockhead fan base is wild when it comes to the boys having significant others. I'm very aware of those things and the bad consequence I was through was what happened to me last year in New York. I don't talk about it too often because that person doesn't deserve any amount of publicity. 

Addison- He looked right into my eyes and it was over. I knew I should walk away, but I ran closer. Cause I don't want something right down in the middle. 

I sang a bit of the first line getting the melody from the chorus. I tried to add something then Tessa walked in. 

Tessa- hey girly! how was it?

She came plopping down on the couch next to me. 

Tessa- can I see what you're writing?

Addison- sure, it's not much. I only got a bit of the first line down. Janice helped me with the chorus. 

I showed her what all I have. She reads over it and she smiled.

Tessa- oh my gosh, this is so good, is this about Jordan?

I looked at her and laughed

Addison- how'd you know?

Tessa- girl, it's so obvious, the line where it says he looked right into my eyes and it was over. That's so Jordan! 

I giggled 

Addison- okay, yes it's about Jordan, it's not just about him specifically, it's about our relationship on how there was potential consequences when I got with him. I was aware of it. 

Tessa- so that's your way saying haters gonna hate, they can stay mad?

She asked with a smile and I chuckled 

Addison- you could put it like that. 

Tessa- want any help?

I looked at her. 

Addison- you can try, it's a bit difficult 

Tessa- okay, something that Jordan does.... oh my god, sometimes he calls you late at night and what does he call you, pet name wise?

I looked at her not understanding why she's asking that.

Addison- he calls me babe, baby, or baby girl. He calls me all sorts of names. 

Tessa- try to include him calling you one of those name in the line. 

Addison- okay 

I tried to write something down saying he calls me late at night my time and calls me whatever pet name but seeing which one would match more. I came up with something. 

Addison- okay, here's what I got, he only calls late at night, and he calls me "baby". If you knew how blessed he was you would probably hate me. He gives it to me more than a little. 

Tessa's jaw dropped.

Tessa- oh my god! that sounds so amazing, now put that whole line together. 

I begin to sing.
