I just got home from the police station, they took me, Kyra, and Yandi into their custody. I was scared on God. Yandi cried the whole time in the car and in the police station. It seems nothing good ever happens anymore.
I heard my phone ringing so I went to get it out my purse, while I was getting it I noticed Money's phone also. I picked up his phone while answering mines.
"Hello?" I asked. "Hello, This Jessica. Is Kyra ready to come home?" She asked. "Hold on." I said.
"Ja'Kyra, Jessica said are you ready to go home?" I asked. "It don't matter." She said. "No Kyra you gotta stay with me." Yandi said. "I was going to drop you off by your mama." I told Yandi. "No you can't do that." She said lowly.
I took Jessica off of hold and put the phone to my ear. "She said she's not ready, I'll drop her off when she's ready." I told her. "Ok. Tell her we love her and come home soon." She said. "Alright." "Ok. Bye." She said and I hung up.
"What's your mama number?" I asked Yandi. She shrugged making me impatient. My nerves were already shooken up. "Come on Yandi, I don't have time for you to be acting like this." I told her. "I told you I don't know." She yelled. I clenched my fist and sighed deeply. "I'm just going to get it out of Money's phone anyways." I said. She shrugged.
I grabbed Money's phone off the table and unlocked it remembering he said that his password was 2580. I started looking through the M's for Mama. I seen Marrisa, May, Melissa, Miricle, Mira, Miyah, Monique, and Mya. No mama.
"What's your mama name?" I asked her. "Della." She said. I started looking through the D's for her name and I finally found it. "I wouldn't call her if I were you." Yandi said. She was acting really stupid right now and I didn't know if it was because she's missing Money and wants attention or what.
"Why not?" I asked. She shrugged. "What the fuck Yandi? Tell me what's up." I asked throwing my hands up. "I can't say." She said "Why is that?" I asked. "Money told me not to tell anyone" She said. I rolled my eyes and called her. It wrung a few times and went straight to voicemail. I tried calling back but she didn't answer that time either.
"You know where she stay?" I asked. "I think I remember." She said. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my purse. "Y'all come on." I told them and went to lock the doors.
We rode around for about 1 hour and wasn't getting anywhere. I'm starting to think Yandi lying. "Yandi you sure you know where she stay?" I asked. "Yeah, we almost there just make a left right here." She pointed. I turned and rode down the subdivision. "Which house?" I asked. "Its light pink and tan." She said. I rode a little longer until I found her house.
It was a fair house. Nice size, green grass, and good condition. "Y'all getting out?" I asked killing the ignition. "You going?" Kyra asked Yandi. Yandi shook her head no. I wonder what she got against her mama like that. "We gone stay in here." Kyra said. I sighed and got out the car. Honestly how Yandi was behaving made me nervous to talk to her mama.
I knocked a few times until she came to the door. A woman a little taller than me, with caramel skin, long hair, and a skinny body frame appeared at the door. "Della?" I asked. "Yeah, who are you?" She asked. "I'm Moe, Money's friend." I told her. She nodded. "Can I come in?" I asked.
She moved out the way letting me walk in. "What that boy then got his self into now?" She said to herself. "Money went to jail earlier today, and he wanted me to let you know." I said. "That boy of mines never do right." She shook her head. "What you his new girlfriend?" She asked. "No mam, were just friends." I said.
