Chapter 7: ASK HIM OUT?

You toss and turn in your bed. You're just trying to take a late afternoon/early evening nap, so why are you finding it so hard to sleep?

Really, you know exactly why.

Ever since Frollo kissed your hand earlier that day, you've been unable to think about anything except him. Since you'd hitted your head to hard, you can't really remember how you felt about him before the accident, but you have a feeling that you really, really liked him.

Maybe it was the crazy eyes? Maybe it was his quiet confidence? Maybe it was when his quiet confidence stopped being so quiet, and you got to see those little glimpses of what he was truly like on the inside? ...Maybe, or maybe not.

Perhaps you just thought he was interesting. You tried to stop dwelling on it, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and you found yourself wrestling with the idea of getting up, finding Frollo, and asking to go on a date with him.

Before the accident, you reasoned, surely I went out with him like that all the time! But things were different now. Frollo seemed to be trying to re-win your affection, even more so than Facilier had when he took you into that ballroom for the dance.

You decided you'd cut your losses and ask him out. Clearly, there was a reason he was dating you in the first place, so what harm would there be in trying that again? Despite how soon it was since you'd been re-introduced to the harem, there was a part of you that wanted to get things going again as soon as possible.

With a dramatic sigh, you get out of bed. Your pajamas are still on— you're too comfy to care about looking fancy for Frollo. If he accepts, you can always just get dressed for the date after he says yes, and it'll save you the wasted effort if he says no.

You open the door to your room, walk down the hall, walk down the stairs, walk down another series of halls, and at last step outside. You hear hoofbeats off in the distance, no doubt a sign of Frollo's intimidating presence being somewhere nearby.

Naturally, you follow the sound, eager to find your man and woo him once again.
