"Wow, that was the best thing I've eaten all week!" Chloe moaned as she finished the last of her waffles. "Very good first impression, Chan."

"Glad you liked them, although you did eat most of them." She stared at him in shock, realising just how much she'd snarfed down in less than fifteen minutes. "Oh God, Chan, I'm so sorry! I was super hungry and I -"

"Woah woah, calm down there, Hyunseo!" he chuckled. "I said most of them, not all. and besides, I had my own at the café before coming. I sort of knew you'd be this hungry," he explained.

"How would you know how much i'd eat?"

"My sister Hannah would eat heaps every morning, and you're kinda similar to her, I guess,"

"Oh yeah, you told me about her yesterday! She sounds fun. I've always wanted a sister."

(a/n: no you absolutely do NOT want a sister; it's living hell having siblings. does it change the fact that i love her? nope, but i still feel like selling her and my brothers on the black market)

As they neared the JYP entertainment building, they discarded the empty paper bags in a nearby bin before scanning their ID cards and opening the main door. "So, vocal lessons first, I presume?" chan asked.

"Uh... yeah, actually!" Chloe skimmed through her weekly timetable, checking the Wednesday column. "Vocals, then break, then rap at 10 o'clock and dance the next hour."

"Same here, except i have producing at 10,"

"Wow, we have a future producer here!" Chloe joked. "The next J.Y. Park!"

"I'm so flattered. Thank you," he deadpanned. "But hey, you could be the next CL!"

"Well thanks, I guess."

The pair rounded a corner, finding the place they needed to be. Above hung a bright yellow sign, which read vocal room 7 in Korean "Hey Chlo, try reading that sign," chan snickered, remembering the events of the previous day.

"Oh shush it, you know what it says,"

"And i know you know, so read it." he teased.

"Ugh, it's vocal room seven. Now let's go or we'll be late!"

Chloe walked past Chan with a look of pretend annoyance on her face, leaving him doubled over laughing.

Alright everyone, for the next exercise I'm going to need everyone to make groups of three!" the vocal coach, Ms. Lee commanded the class of young trainees. Spotting each other, Chloe and Chan waved from opposite sides of the room before meeting at the sidelines.

Another boy, around Chan's age, sauntered over towards the pair.

"Uh, hi. I don't have any partners, and I was hoping to join you guys, if that's okay with you both?" the boy spoke.

"Oh yeah sure, no problem! You can join us," Chloe replied enthusiastically. "i'm Hyunseo, and this is Chan," she introduced herself and her friend.

"Nice to meet you both, I'm -" he stopped for a second. "My name is kinda long, so just call me Bambam."

"That's an... interesting name," Chan seemed intrigued.

"It's a stage name, I'm debuting next year so I have to get used to being called 'Bambam' all the time." he explained.

"Oh, so you're in the new boy group then."

"Yeah I am, but my real name is Kunpimook Bhuwakul."

"Tha- that's actually a really long name."
