Chapter 5: Spying

Alex woke up to the light of the sun shining through his curtains, he yawned and stretched before getting up. As he got out of bed he put on his watch and looked at the time.

"8:02 am... Later than usual, I must've been really tired last night," he said to himself as he looked at his desk. His desktop keyboard was out, papers scattered, and half drank apple juice and books. Alex shook his head, walked over and started to organise his desk, once he finished that he took the apple juice and himself downstairs.

"Morning honey, how was your sleep?" His mum asked as she was cooking.

"It was alright, I didn't realise I made such a mess last night," He said and sat down at the island where his dad was. Just as he sat down he saw his watch vibrate indicating someone was messaging him, he went to the kitchen outlet and unplugged his phone.
