Little did she know I felt so much more than just nervous, but I did not want to worry her more than I probably already have. We walk towards the car, I reach for the handle to open the car door and her face lights up with joy as she sees the rose I purchased for her right before our date. "No one has ever bought me flowers or even opened the door for me... thank you" she mentions to me with small tears in her eyes. During this time my body eased up just enough to be able to hold a conversation. Talking to her felt so smooth because she loves to talk, and I love to listen. We had talked for hours in the car and even during dinner. I loved every single second of it. We even made the waiter laugh because we were so focused on our conversation that we kept forgetting to pick up our menus. "Don't worry, I completely understand you guys have a lot of catching up to do" the waiter would say as he chuckled. It was like we didn't care about anything around us. Just her and I and this table between us in our booth that we sat in. Even with how well we were communicating she could still tell how timorous my voice was. We did eventually make it through dinner. I didn't care about the food we ate, all I was focused on was the symphonies she sang to me as she spoke from that angelic voice of hers.
