Chapter 11: ugh

I was once again wandering around Hybe building and decided to grab a drink from the café.

After entering the café, I saw Sieun.

Sieun was standing there ordering her coffee while I approached her.

"Hey, Sieun. How you doing?"

"Oh hie! Yes I'm... I'm good. Kinda stressed but it's alright. What about you?" She said with a tired smile.

"Same to be honest." An awkward silence went by then I asked.."You like coffee?"

"Yes, I love it! I dunno it's like my Body doesn't get that boost if I don't get to drink coffee." She said.

"Ohmygod. Same. Most of my colleagues here don't like coffee I don't know why! But hey, finally got someone like me." I said while chuckling softly.

"Hmm." Sieun was looking at me with a gaze of intrigue and confusion.
I was wondering what she was thinking, made me kinda nervous.

"So, wanna have a coffee with me?" Sieun asked while looking down at her coffee cup.

"Sure, sure! Lemme just order mine."

I ordered a latte while Sieun found a sit and sat there crossed legged.
She was a bit shorter than me and those baggy clothes made her look more small and short.

After I grabbed my latte, I sat beside her trying to study her.

"I had fun that day." I said as I sipped my latte.

"Hmm?" She said with a flustered look.

"Oh! at the bar" I specified.

"Oh yes I had fun ,too! Got to know your nature more I guess. Though it was unexpected to see ya there." Sieun hesitantly said while looking at her cup and with a tired smile.

"Me too.! But it was nice seeing you all together and I enjoyed the hang out. Its been a long time since I have hung out in group." I said while looking outside.
Sieun looked at me and pressed her lips in a thin line.
"You ...and Yeonjun looked close.."

Was that a question or a statement?
Panic ran through me as I saw her looking at her cup kind of...sad? And confused?

Does she.....
Likes Yeonjun?

Oh god, hell no.

I should tell her but I can't ugh.

"Uh- yeah actually I've been his makeup artist since his debut so, we've got close." I said with a smile still feeling nervous.

She met my eye and said, "oh..alright."
Right after that she looked at the watch and said, "gotta go, I've some work. Jenn is gonna kill me!"

"Yeah understandable. Go on. See ya later"

I let out a deep breath as I saw her leave.
I was having shivers going through my spines.

God...this coffee isn't working...
