It was a calm night in Seven Red Suns' superstructure. He was accompanied by a dear friend visiting from far off, Five Pebbles. They were collaborating on a project together, testing some new technology for transportation that could bypass any environmental threats. Suns handed over a small welding tool to Five, as he was creating an airborne prototype - a sort of drone. He gave a brief grunt as thanks for the tool, and touched up on the wings of the drone. "Are you as excited as I am, Five Pebbles?" Suns said, looking at the little robot. The shorter Iterator huffed. "We already have the communication towers, why would we need to send pearls if we can just send transcripts?" He replied, zapping at the seams of the mechanical wings to keep them in place. "Pebbles, you know there is more to it than that." Suns chuckled lightly. "Think of how much we can do with this." The shorter stopped for a moment, and looked at him. "Oh? Like what? Sending pearls? Oh! Perhaps we can send a rock!" Five said with false enthusiasm, before giving a cocky tilt of the head. Suns laughs a little, as he was handed the tool to finish the intricacies. "You're so sarcastic, dear pupil. Where in the void did you adopt such an attitude?" He said, focusing on the seams with extreme precision. "The ancients, duh." "Right, of course."

The two focused on trying to complete the prototype in hopes of sending a measly pearl across the planes to a neighboring Iterator without the destruction of the little drone. They were sending a test pearl to someone they had already notified about the experiment, which they agreed to participate in.

As Seven Red Suns finished up the welding process for Five Pebbles, he waited for it to cool before lightly tapping at the wing. It was stable. He glanced over, and saw that Five had already retrieved a blank pearl. He walked toward the taller Iterator, holding the shimmering white orb in his hands, ready for the message. "Five, could you prepare the message?" Suns said, setting down the tool somewhere. Five looked down at the pearl in his hand, and sighed. "Fine." He sighed, as he held up the pearl to begin imprinting a message. He straightened up, but his eyes were half lidded, and his body was slouching a little, yet somewhat tense. "No Significant Harassment, thank you for participating in mine and Seven Red Suns' test drive for an aerial transportation unit, otherwise known as ATU. Once you receive this message, and the drone arrives in one piece, send the ATU back toward Seven Red Suns' structure. Instructions are as follows;" He listed off a set of instructions with a rigid expression and a monotone voice. Despite his usually sarcastic and stoic attitude, he seemed more stiff compared to usual. Once he was finished, the pearl shone with a pretty orange sheen. He handed it to the black eyed Iterator. Suns took it, but paused. "You seem off today. Is something the matter?" He asked, looking down at his pupil. He nodded. "I'm fine. Let's send this off." Suns hesitated, then nodded in return.

The two went off to the surface, where they would launch their project off into the sky. As they drew closer and closer to the outside, Five Pebbles grew more restless. Once they left the structure up to the fields upon fields of delicately swaying crimson grass, illuminated by moonlight. Suns drew in a mimicked deep breath, looking around at the fields. He was a little sentimental over the sight every time he gazed upon the surface of his own structure. Five Pebbles didn't have the same nostalgia, but he felt echoes of the sentiment. "Are you ready, my pupil?" Suns asked, looking down at him. Five Pebbles nodded, crossing his arms in expectancy for the little drone to fly off into the horizon. Suns lifted the pearl, and placed it inside a small compartment on the top of the ATU. The chamber sealed, and after he pressed a few buttons, the drone hummed to life, and began to lift into the air. As it centered on a location, it launched off into the sky and off the superstructure at a fast, steady pace. It seemed to be running smoothly, yet Five was anxious. Sun reached down, and set a hand on his back. "Are you doing okay?" He asked, rubbing his shoulder. The shorter Iterator sighed. "I'm fine... Just concerned our project will be intercepted and destroyed." He said, looking in the distance at the little drone. "Five Pebbles, you set up a radar and a defensive flying system. The drone will be fine." He reassured, bringing the antsy Iterator in to hold him. The shorter Iterator relaxed a little, but still felt tense. Soon enough, Suns got an idea. "What if we went back to my chambers and celebrated? Perhaps I could help you... relax?" He spoke softer, pulling him close. Five pebbles looked up curiously. "S-sure, let's go." He said, slightly blushing.
