Guila and Jericho went off after Helbram commanded them to deal with the other matter, while I stood on the ground watching King and Helbram fight. In each attack King gets inflicted by Helbram's blade I did my best to hold back a scream or, flinch... another thing about Soulmates is, that when one of the Soulmates gets hurt the other Soulmate will also get the same pain but worse. Thankfully with my vampire regeneration from wounds goes away like nothing but the pain is unbearable, I can't say anything it'll stop him from doing his mission Hendrickson and if he doesn't do it right as Hendrickson tells him he causes him pain...I can not allow it!

I shake my head feeling the pain still where Helbram slashes King across the chest, panting. They were on the ground now, when I felt it along with Helbram.

"Hmm? What's this? How can it be? I'm certain he was sealed away in the Goddess Amber as we planned," I took a step forward a bit worried when King brought out many of his knives weakly. "Hmm? Stop your futile efforts. This is no longer the time or place for me to be fighting you."

Helbram turns his back towards King, who is on his knees holding his hand over his wound. Seeing King in his human form is weird; he picked an odd form but still looks cute.

"How do you figure?"

"Look there."

My eyes widen when 'he' slams into the ground causing King to fly back, but my auto instant catches King sitting him on gently, and he looks surprised at me. I smiled sadly at him.

"Please...stay put, it's not safe anymore. Meliodas -- your Captain isn't himself at the moment."

"What? Why...why would you save me, when you are his ally?"

"....I have my reasons cutie, but it's best you stay put." I flirted a bit poking his cute tiny button nose.

I felt delighted seeing his cheeks turn red, I felt proud of myself but I turned back to focus on Helbram and Meliodas. I gasp at how strong Helbram is against Meliodas when he's out of control. I sternly told him to stay put and ran after them, ignoring King telling me to stop. I promised to protect him, even with my seven hearts getting stabbed, I owe my life to him for freeing me from that dreadful place. My eyes widen in horror seeing Helbram get hit sending him to the ground, and Meliodas turns the dark stuff on his arm into a sword and charges at Helbram, he looks too injured to move in time!

"No..." I used my vampire speed and appeared in between them. "I won't let you hurt him!!"

I gasp out blood from my mouth, staring at him in shock. Tears slid down my face, and I started to feel numb feeling one of my hearts fading. My body slumps forward as Meliodas lifts me in the air still impaled staring blankly down. 

"Evangeline...no. You bastard!!"

I remember flying, then someone catching me and shaking me as I had eyes half open barely seeing his face looking concerned... Smiling softly, I reach my shaking hand to rest on his cheek stopping him from speaking and talking.

"Are you...worried about me...that m...much, Master?"

"You fool! Why would you do something stupid!?"

Smiling sadly "I promised myself...t...to always protect....y...you. You saved me...from su...ch, loniless. I'm tired now...I'll...sleep until...my wounds...are...are healed..."

I spoke softly feeling myself fading, and my disguise disappearing showing I was wearing the outfit he got me with the hood. And I succumbed to my wounds.
