Everybody was tense in the warehouse. It was almost time for Zale and I to leave and hunt, ofcourse we were going to hunt, but we were not planning on returning to the warehouse.

Muiel stared us down. Zale and I that is. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I think he knows about our plan.

Calder sat in a big chair, head in his hand, massaging it like he was trying to rid of a headache.

"Zale..Nerina. You may go hunt now.."

I sighed, relieved. Maybe he doesn't know. Because If he did, I'm sure as hell he wouldn't let us leave that easily.

Zale nodded his head. Our hands interlocked as he lead me out to the door of the warehouse,

"It is not over yet"

Was all I heard before Zale quickly rushed me out of there. We ran to the cliffs, jumping off without stopping. Today, we hunt. Today, we run.

The hunt that day was rewarding. It seems the ocean was telling us both where the good stuff was.

Although we didn't have any mermaids today, - which would have helped as Mermaid blood is much more affective than fish blood - there was always a shark or dolphin lurking around every few minutes, which apetized us.

We had finished our hunt and were ready to take off. I grabbed onto Zale's hand and we shot of, swimming as far away as possible. I had no idea where we were going, but I think he knew exactly where he was taking me. We swam for days on end, stopping every 100 or so kilometres to hunt, until we finally reached some sort of mainland area.

"Where are we, Zale?"

He tightened his grip on my hand.

"Italy."

"Why are we in italy?"

"To visit the Voulturi"

As we were planning our escape, Zale had informed me a little bit on the Voulturi. He explained them as The oldest and biggest clan of our world. He said they were the closest thing our world had to royalty. Their Sire's name was Aro.

He said they could help us, keep us safe from Calder.

I was scared but he said as long as we were together, nothing could come between us. I believed and trusted him.

"Ready?" Zale asked as he was about to open the door.

I nod my head,

"Ready as I'll ever be"

He let out a small chuckle of some sort,

He pressed his lips to mine and opened the big heavy door.

We went downstairs, in an elevator and as we passed a lady sitting at a reception desk.

She said something I didn't hear, as there was only one thing I was aware of in that room. Blood.

Not mermaid blood, or dolphin blood. But human blood. It smelt so sweet I was finding it hard not to pounce, but Zale kept a firm grip around my waist, keeping me by his side.

"Just one bite" I hissed, quietly. I wouldn't want her to know I was coming.

Zale tsk'd and continued walking with me through a dark hallway. At the end of the corridor, there was a big olden style door, sitting there waiting to be opened.

Zale took a deep breath before pushing the handle down sending the door flying open.

A mass amount of head turned at the sound the door had made.
