The people on the screen
What would I give if they were real,
Oh the comfort they bring,
The bad guys ,the good guys
Hero's and villains,
If only they were real
Because everyone here can never love like them,
The villain will kill anyone for you to be safe,
The hero will never stop searching for you ,
The world's I've been to, the things I've seen,
The love that no one here on earth could give me,
The werewolves, vampires, their loyalty is unquestionable,
Their love is so devoted,
The next door neighbors, your quirky best friend,
Even the mafia guys, love so perfectly indescribable,
The jocks and the nerds, so adorable and kind,
Only letting you get close to them,
Only you get to know their deepest darkest secrets,
If only they were real,
The person your friends set you up with,
That one secret crush,
The celebrity that you finally meet,
The knight who will risk his honor for you,
The king who will give away his whole kingdom for you,
The guard who keeps you safe as they guard your door,
I would hug them so tight,
Thank them for showing me what love should be,
Thank them for being my shoulder to cry on,
Thank them because if it weren't for them I wouldn't have conquered the demons in my mind,
They showed me that everyone deserves love,
And a happy ever after.
