Earlier that day

"Hey! Izumi-chan... Why are you looking at your phone like that?" Yu slowly walked up to her with a donut and sat beside her at the edge of the corridor.

Izumi frowed her eyebrows at her phone."Suguru-san hasn't called yet.He had said that it's the last day, right?" she looked at him for his confirmation.

Yu just shrugged his shoulders "maybe they're on their way.. You want some?" He outstretched the donut in his hand for her to take. She took it and split it in half and ate one.

"Aww you can eat the whole thing. I don't wan-" Yu's words were cut off as she extended her hands behind him.

"I don't really want that....*sigh* I'll take it this time.."Nanami said as he took the half donut from her which earned him a satisfied smile.

"Yeah yeah.. I know everyone loves meee" Yu said pouting as he drew small hearts on the floor.

Izumi looked at Nanami as she chuckled before hugging Yu. "Of course we love you and you know that. Besides it's not like you haven't eaten rest of the donuts and let me tell you, there were 8 whole pieces" She looked at Nanami as she said the last part and playfully narrowed her eyes at Yu and he smiled sheepishly with a soft blush coating his cheeks.
" They were just sooo good! Sorry guys. I'll get you some later!"

Izumi nodded her head enthusiastically and high fived while Nanami pinched his nose at their childishness.
'I hope you two are coming here safe senpai' Izumi prayed in her mind.

"Hey...What's that??" Izumi asked as she saw something flying towards their direction.

Yu turned around to see a swarm of Fly heads moving in their direction. "They're fly heads! But how did they get here with the barrier?!"

"Tsk!GET READY!!" Nanami yelled as he rushed out followed by the other two.

"The tombs of the star and the forbidden vault use barriers that conceal. So they can't place guards at the entrances. As long as you know where the doors are, they're full of holes" Toji said as he and Geto walked along the corridors, parallel to one another.

"Sorcerers are busy during this time of the year and jujustu high is brimming with fly heads right now.It's pure chaos outside" Toji rambled in a blank tone which made Geto falter for a second, but he didn't let it show.'i know they can take care of some flyheads. I don't need to worry about that'

"And since i have no cursed energy, I'm like the invisible man. There was one problem, though. If i wield a cursed tool, the cursed energy from it will stop me from being an invisible man" Using his rambling as an opportunity Geto used his technique and shot his squid like curses at Toji. But he missed.

Toji appeared on the other side of the door screen and continued as if nothing happened and walked with no care. "Now there's more to this story. See, i keep a cursed spirit that can store cursed objects around. So i usually keep my cursed tools in it while i walk around" As he walked he spat a small curse into his hand from his mouth, that quickly enlarged and wrapped itself around him.

Geto was getting impatient as Toji explained his techniques and it's reasons.
" Enough!!" He wanted to know how he knew the right door to the Tomb Star.

Humans leave plenty of traces aside from residuals. Like scent, footprints etc. And Toji's pact enhances his all five of his senses.

"There should have been another woman on the way here. What happened to her?" Geto asked about kuroi as he remembered they had left her by the elevator.
