Seungcheol was desperate. With three days left before White Day, he was still looking for a shop selling what he wanted.
Jeonghan seemed to have no such problem when he told him about his dilemma the other day. Typical of Jeonghan, having Lady Luck on his side on top of being exceptionally smart.
Seungcheol was ready to accept defeat in his hunt for the elusive blooms he earlier set his mind on giving Denisse.
Already coming to terms with having to find something else, he searched online for close alternatives.
Suddenly, his phone rang with an incoming call from an unknown number that he reluctantly accepted.
"Yeo-yeoboseyo?"
"Yeoboseyo. Bishop @Fifth here. Seungcheol nim?"
"Ne, ajumeoni. Seungcheol speaking."
"We have an available bouquet of blue roses, a dozen. Do you still want them?"
"You do? Wow! That's excellent news. I looked everywhere and almost gave up. Of course, I'd gladly get them, no matter how much."
"Great! I could have them ready for you by the morning of White Day. What time would you like to pick them up?"
"Could you add a dozen premium long-stemmed red roses and mix them with the blue ones? I'd appreciate it if you could make an awesome bouquet since it's for someone extra special."
"Is this a proposal bouquet?"
"Ne. Kind of."
"I'll send you sample arrangements to choose from. Just text me which one you like and what time you'll get it. I'll send you our address and the cost of the bouquet. You can settle the payment when you come to pick it up. Is that alright, Seungcheol nim?"
"Kamsahamnida, ajumeoni!"
"You must be a good person to have such a great friend."
Seungcheol thought that the shop owner probably recognized him as a member of SVT and knew about their large group.
"Huh? I try to be. Not everyone has a dozen great brothers."
"Wow! I see you have 11 more. How lucky! Annyeong, Seungcheol nim."
"An...annyeong, ajumeoni! Jinjja kamsahamnida!"
Although slightly puzzled by the shop owner's comment, Seungcheol couldn't hide his ecstasy about his unexpected good fortune as he ended the call with a lilting voice.
Having spent years with Lucky Jeonghan might have brushed off some of the latter's good fortune on him.
The thought reminds him about the favor he asked, wondering what Denisse's answer was or if Jeonghan already managed to ask. He also couldn't help but speculate what he wanted to talk to Denisse about.
There's still a week to go before White Day. Not hearing any updates from Jeonghan about their agreement, Seungcheol grew more anxious as the day approached.

Since White Day, my interactions with Jeonghan and Cheol have risen to a different level.
Both SVT elders hung around wherever I was, between shoots, during rehearsals, and even during weekends or off days when I was supposed to attend to personal errands or enjoy some me-time.
