Chapter 5

Rain pov

The bell rang and everyone ran to class. After a long lecture from the professor, it was finally over. I didn't know learning could be tiresome. So much for choosing law for my career. I guess i chose it because of my dad. He would take me to work sometimes and we could solve cases together. Well not me but he would always make it seem fun.

After class i decided to head out to the cafe since i was free this afternoon.
I ordered  chocolate milkshake with extra sprinkles and cherry on top and proceeded with studying.

"Mmmh isn't that a good combination, chocolate huh." I looked up to see the person who spoke to me.
"Buddy hey. What are you doing here."

"Well i got thirsty and felt the urge to taste something sweet but i saw you then i was no longer thirsty." I smiled shyly by his comment.
"Good to know i quenched your thirst. Are you here alone."

"Yes. The others were busy with staffs but Mika says hi. So what are you studying."
"I'm studying law actually. My dad was a lawyer and my mom was a Judge. I got interested with law because of my dad. He would always take me to work sometimes and we could solve cases together. I would watch him in court and mom would always tell me to always do the right thing and be at the right side of the law."

"What do you mean they used to." He said. I stayed silent.
"I'm sorry i didn't mean to....." He said with an apologetic look.

"It's ok. They died when i was ten. It was a long time ago. I was taken by Siena's family. They raised me. They became my family."

"Well you have me too now." He looked at me straight into my eyes. Damn those eyes. Wait but i like dynamite. Snap out of it Rain.
"You're a good friend Buddy. Thank you."

We talked for a while and he got a phone call and had to leave. I stayed at the cafe for a while before heading home.

The past few weeks has been quiet. I have been hanging with Mika and his friends. Siena got to meet them too and trust me when i say she immediately fell for Bose.
We got really close with them. I really didn't get to see or hear from Lil dynamite. Maybe he got caught up in fighting crime. I really needed to see him.

Siena came out of the bathroom wearing a mini  tight maroon dress with ankle black boots heels.
"Where are you going dressed like that."

"To a party. You didn't hear. And i need to look good. I dress to impress and besides i have to look sexy for Bose. He's with me at the party. You should come."

"I'll pass this time. Maybe next time. Aren't you gonna be cold. At least carry a jacket."

"I can't wear a jacket. I want my night to be like in the movies. You know where the girl suddenly gets cold then boy covers her with his jackets and there are sparks then they kiss. I want my night to be like that." She said and continued to apply her makeup.

"Seriously that only happens in the movie." She looked at me and rolled her eyes. On no you didn't.
"A girl can dream ok. See you later and don't wait up." She grabbed her purse and now i was left alone.

I listened to some music before getting bored. I took a bath and put on my pjs. I couldn't sleep. I went to the balcony to get some fresh air.
It was getting a little bit windy and i decided to get back.
"A little bored are we." I screamed and looked who it was.
"Seriously you scared the shit out of me." It was dynamite. Even with his super suit he looked hot.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that i haven't been around. I was in another city fighting crime."

"Ok that's understandably. What are you doing here anyway."
He landed close to me and said. "I'm here to take you out." Did i here him correctly.
"Like a date date or......." i asked.

"Yes like a date." I smiled and headed in to change into something nice. I wore a black tight dress which was almost near my knee. I put on a flat maroon shoes and tied my hair.
I went outside the balcony. "Wow you look gorgeous." He said and i blushed.
He came near me and carried me bridal style. I put my hand around his neck. We were in mid air. I still didn't like heights. I leaned on his chest and closed my eyes. I think he might have noticed because he tightened his grip.
"We are here you can open your eyes now." I guess i didn't notice we were already here. We were on the roof top. The lighting was perfect, red petals were all over and a place for us to sit.
"Wow. Did you do all this."

"No i had a little help." He gently put me down and held my hand leading me to my sit. He pulled the chair for me to sit. What a gentleman.
"Here." He handed me my favourite drink. "Wait how did you know this is my favourite. It even has the sprinkles and cherry on top."

"Because that's my favourite too and who wouldn't love chocolate."
We talked more and more. We had a great time. I leaned close to him as we watched the stars. I became to know more about him on how he became a hero.
"How did you become you know a hero."

"Well if you must know. I was exposed with high amounts of radiation and i was put into a healing suit well a power suit for my borns developed by a smart person leading me to accidentally gaining super powers. And as you have seen i can fly and shoot plasma beams or laser from my hands."

"Did you ever felt like you wanted to be normal again." He sighed.
"Actually I'm happy who i am today. I get to be a superhero and save someone from danger. Maybe it's not that bad. I mean i got to save you and found love. I got to find my soulmate whom i love." He loves me. He looked right into my eyes.
"I love you Rain. I have loved you since the day i set my eyes on you."

"I love you too." He leaned closed to me and we kissed but this time it was so passionate. He pulled me closer as i put my hands on his neck.

Minyak's pov

I was flying around Swellview thinking of a plan to destroy captainman and his sidekicks. I stopped suddenly for something amazing caught my eyes. I landed on top of a building and hid.
"What do we have here. Our Lil dynamite has fallen in love huh. How pathetic." I got an idea of using his plasma beam to power up my machine and a little extra secret. Looks like i have to use your little weakness against you. Hahahaha.
