The next day was pretty much the same . Classes , cabir's stupid jokes .

And in lunch me ,mukti ,cabir ,navya were sitting. And cabir started his drama about how much he is missing manik . Cabir's all fun and caring,I get it . But I sometimes wonder how navya fell in love with him . Don't get me wrong but I sometimes really wonder if he's into manik . Hahahaha

Anyways later that evening me and mukti left together. Well sid , yet again offered to give me a ride but I denied as I'm with mukti. I've got a feeling that mukti isn't very fond of him . Well I mean she's not fond of any existing human species but she doesn't really shut them  off . Donna have a talk with her later .

Dad came home early to night and we decided to have a pizza night . Yayyyyy
We were watching suits and started debating on who's the smarter one Mike ross or Harvey specter

Like come onnn ,it's Harvey. Anyways we finished our dinner and my dad went to sleep . I was scrolling on Insta feed in my room  and I've suddenly got a call .

Ahh!! Manik freaking malhotra finally decided to ring me up.
As soon as I lifted the call , there was a loud scream almost damaging my eardrum.

What the fuck dude??
He started laughing. Then we started talking.

I wouldn't admit it but maybe be I missed him a teeny tiny bit.

Manik's pov:

Hello there . I'm manik . come on who doesn't know me ( Smug face)

Well I've come to Punjab to visit my sweetest grandma . And as expected she made me stay back for an extra week with her over emotional speeches. Grandmas I tell you.

Well it's fun over here , but I totally miss my friends. My day wouldn't go without annoying nandini.

Well everyone must be missing me ,like who wouldn't I'm the coolest person I know
Okok not boosting,just stating the mere facts.
Well speaking of friends, cabir is my brother. Knows me in and out . We are really close . Something he just kisses me on my cheek which is beyond annoying .well I do want some kisses but definitely not from him , you know someone else .but yeah hes my soul brother. And navya we are not exceptionally close but yeah we are good friends. Then there's dhruv , sahir  ,mukti . And  then ofcourse nandini. I call her angel . Don't ask why I just do .
Well she likes to call us "frenemies"

I can't help but wonder, like for someone with such good grades she can be really dense sometimes. (*Disappointed head shake*)

Anyways I'm gonna take a flight to night and I'll be in school tomorrow.
Well I felt like talking to her and I rang her up .

As usual just to annoy her  I started screaming hahaha

Whatsup angel!!
Nandini: hey !! Are you packed ?? At what time will you reach tomorrow?

Wow looks like someone did miss me
Hehe.

Manik ;What are you doing ?
Nandini: nothing, I just had dinner. You ?
Manik: I just packed ,I'll be starting in an hour . So tell me. What I missed
Nandini: we'll nothing much. We got 4 new students in our class .
Manik : any pretty girls?
Nandini: seriously? Yeah there alright.
Manik : aww is my angel jealous. I laughed.
Nandini : ha ha you wish . It's just that I didn't meet anyone prettier than me . *Smug face*

I didn't either.

Manik : and what else
Nandini: ohh not the girls but there is this guy, sid ,the New kid . I think you got yourself a new competitive manik. Haha
Manik : haha like in hell. No one beat can beat my looks angel . Trust me
Nandini: oh please. He's handsome and actually sweet . He even plays basketball. And guess what he even gave me a ride home.

Jealousy mode on

Manik : we'll see that when I come back. You got a crush on him ?
Asked manik in a disturbed tone.
Nandini: what? Shutup I met him a day ago .
Manik : you still didn't answer my question
Nandini: okay no ,I don't have a crush. I'm just saying he nice thats it.
Nandini replied rolling her eyes .

I really didn't wanna speak about some random , apparently good looking dude . So I just changed the topic .
We continued our talk with some random jokes and yesss my khadoos teacher finnally left the school.
Ahh finally inner peace .

We talked for the whole hour . We cut the call as I have to start to the airport.

Well first I have to have a little chat with cabir about this sid dude. Ahh I'm already annoyed.
