Chapter 5

Manik's pov:

Oh god ,here starts the torture. Please it was my first day after vacation . Don't good looks mean nothing.
Well you must be wondering about my rant.
don't stress your brains. It's math.
Let's just say the teacher and I don't get along well. I mean I caused no harm to her but I don't know she hates me.
Let me tell you what happens everytime. She explained some dumb x ,y stuffs which I don't really give a f about. She asks a question. Some over enthusiastic students raise their hands . While some smart yet a Lil shy kid , one like our angel . Well my angel keeps quiet and some who have no idea tries to hide from her eye sight.
In all the students,somehow she mostly picks me which is really annoying.

Yeah back to the present,

She explained about some bla bla bla shit . And as expected she calls out my charming name .
I stood up and as usual well continued to stand.
"Well manik ,you can never surprise me. It's just a basic question"
She said

Goddd ! It took everything in me not to roll my eyes at her.

Then she picked the new kid. What was his name again "shit" ah no it's "sid" . Well guess what,dude apparently answers to dumb math questions. Well this time I couldn't control the eye roll thing.

Thankfully the 45 min dread has come to an end.
Well one more class continued and it was our lunch.
I walked to the canteen along with cabir , nandini and navya .

We were chilling and eating. Well me and navya were eating but nandini and cabir were inhaling the food. Like come in , are we gonna steel the food from them . *Disappointed headshake*

Nandini's pov:

We were eating our Lunch. Mukti couldn't join us . Apparently she had some work. She is one of the sports incharge.
Ahhh I'm kinda excited for the sports meet .donno when but it's gonna happen soon . Rumours said so .ehm ehm... perks of having a best friend who is a senior and also the sports incharge.

Well next was gym.

I don't particularly hate it. Actually I kinda like it . Manik too actually.

We can either choose between a health class or gym . Navya chose health class. Me and manik chose gym obviously and cabir ,,, let's just say he is stuck in in it as there was no availability in health class .
Well wouldn't mind ideally sitting than actually have to move my body but just think about it.
I would rather play games and run than to sit and listen " did you know,drugs are actually bad for your health and we should rather choose vegetables."
Nahhh!! Not my cup of tea. Well I hate tea and coffee, any caffeine actually. Other than my body wash . Woww it smells wonderful..
Ahh!!! So not the point. Sorry

Anyway we were in the ground and ran two laps . Manik and I raced in the last lap . I obviously lost . I always loose with him and he had to to rub his victory over me for atleast an hour. Well sometimes he gets kind once in a while and he  let's me win. That is so not the case 99 percent of the time.
Anyways manik was laying in the grass and I was sitting beside him .

Then comes Alia . *Dramatic eyeroll*
Manik's pyscho stacker. Shes totally hots for him and he.... let's try to put it in a nice way.
Doesn't really give a flying fuck .
*Smirks*
Okay wasn't very nice . But "just the facts"(in Erica's voice hahahah)
"Hi manik " she purrs . Literally purrs . What are you, a damn cattt??
And hello to you too, I right here you know.
Manik didn't even cared to reply. She didn't really seem to notice though. Then starts speaking again.
"Babe, what are ...."
Manik interrupts and signals her to move a little.
I was confused,so was Alia .
Then finally asks her to stop.
And then says" continue and without the babe "
Soon I realised he was blocking the sun rays using her . I tried my best not to laugh at her face.
Alia was embarrassed a little. But  continued to talk with her high pitch not so cute voice.
" manik , iwas just wondering if you are free after school, there's this really cool cafe opened..."
She was again interrupted by manik with a " no , I'm busy and for the nth time Alia ,quit it already. I told you I'm not interested in a very polite way for the first time".
She just stomped her feet and glared at me and left . Dude he was the one who rejected you , not me .
Wow of the world I tell you*dramatic headshake*

Later at home .

My dad's gonna be late today.  I just ate a snack and sat down to finish my essay.
Wisdom...
Let's see..
Well I went to dmart one day and I can only buy an apple or a chocolate with the money I have , but because I like chocolate more I bought it and not the apple . So this should my wisdom.

I just finished my essay. Definitely not the one above. I used internet and actually came up with something good.
Then I was scrolling my instagram.well I would normally eat at muktis place in situations like this but she wasn't here . She was with her father today. I think you got the idea.
Divorce.
Anyways. I'm going to manik's today. Well you can wonder why , I can't just swiggy.
Let me tell you. Neo aunty Cooks wonders .so why miss a chance.
But I have to walk for whole 3 minutes.
Why God why.....
Ugh....
Soon I went anyways.

That's it for today guys. I'm really sorry for the late update. Well it was my friends birthday.so I drank . A lot.Many days . I drank today too but I was sober enough to right . Anyways a small request. Please don't be a silent reader. I mean I was one too .but I soon realised it just motivates the writer to come up with even better story line.
