chapter 4

Nandini's pov:

Well me and mukti left to school together a little early today. We had basketball practice. And even the tryouts are being held . So mukti being the captain had to go early and went along with her .

We were practicing and some performed well and some didn't. I'm pretty sure gia is gonna be selected.

Later we went to the changing room and wore our uniform. Mukti left to her class. I was going mine.
Then in the corridor I heard some girls squealing that manik has come today.
Oh my gad !! Really. Is he not tired from the journey.
I immediately went back to my class to check if it's true.
There he was sitting with his gang . Laughing about something cabir said .
I immediately got a smile on my face .

Heyy! I grinned at him.
Then he looked at me and came towards me. He ruffled my hair as usual.
Heyy ! I worked hard to get my hair nice . Stop ruining it . I said .
He just smiled at me . There's a staring competition for about a minute until cabir started his fake coughing.

Then the first period started. It's physics. Yayyyyy !
I know most people hate it but I like physics  and on top of that it was sunny sir's class. Who doesn't love him.

Anyways I went back to my seat. Navya was giving me her stupid teasing smiles . Godd !! Help me . She and cabir are impossible when it comes to teasing me.

I didn't notice until I looked at the other side. It was sid . He was smiling. Hi nandini ,he greeted me .
Hey how did the tryouts go . Ya fine I guess. Fingers crossed. Hope I get it in the team.

Sure you will. I replied with a smile. Manik was sitting behind me and when I turned back he was already staring at me. Kinda annoyed I think.
What's gotten in him this early.
Wait is he jeal.. .   No no no what am even thinking. It's manik . No freaking.
Soon the teacher came in and I turned front . Okay that's weird.
Soon sir started his lecture after acknowledging manik's presence in the class . It was fun ,he jokes around a lot and I wouldn't be surprised if some of our class girls actually have a crush on him. Hahahah

Then he had English and she already gave an assignment. Seriously!! It haven't even been a week yet .

Later we had our 15 min break. And Sid was asking about something. Before I comprehend it , manik pulled me out of the class with a "let's go to the canteen" . Followed by cabir . Seriously what's gotten into him since morning.

Anyways we three were sitting in the canteen. I was glaring at him but he just ignored it and placed a cupcake in front of me. Well food comes first. So I dig in.

Then cabir started his rant about the assignment this early.

Well it was to write an essay on. How wisdom is important  in real life . 

manik :  its stupid . shes stupid . what was the topic again. He asked.

Cabir started thinking something in a dramatic way.

 cabir :explaining wisdom , okay for an extent . but the fuck am i supposed to write an essay on it. im not gonna stress my brain. my sweet navya will do it . said cheekily.

you cant stress your brain when you have got none cabir . i replies sweetly.

haha very funny . he said started hitting on my arm. and we started our cat fight.

manik: stop it you two. what are you two , a second grade kid.

one of us  definetly  is. i muttered.

cabir: i heard that ,  he said narrowing his eyes.

it was meant to be heard. i said with a tight smile.

he then flicked on my head . before i could do anything he run away shouting navyas name loudly. Goddd im pretty sure him his mum dropped him when he was a kid. that explains him crackhead behaviour. 

i just smiled at my own theory. then manik just rubbed my hair and asked what are you smiling at? . nothing i said shaking my head. he then stared at me smiling. i could feel the blood rush to my cheeks. and shifted my attention to the cupcake then i heard him chuckle lightly and whispered cute. did i hear right or it was something else.

soon the bell rang and we came to the class. It was math. Manik hates math and the teacher . hahah .this iswonna be entertaining.
