My babies still hadn't arrived home. I couldn't understand what was going on...But I had a good idea of it...

I wasn't stupid. I could tell when someone was keeping a secret from me and I had noticed Andrews's disappearance and he appeared to forget that I am married and have a wife to whom I will stay loyal. It was a stupid move to send his sister, Andrea, to seduce me because Serene was in the room with me at the time.

Now it was 11:36 am and my kids still weren't home.

I had also set up plenty of extra cameras so I knew what had happened last night. I happened to even place a GPS tracking chip in Harley's skin around her neck.

That's how I knew where to send my SWAT team.

I had no idea Valentino had done this. He was a great lad and seemed just like me. He'd been brought up by his uncle and Mother, Andrea, who did a terrible job which is why he rarely talks to her now.

This is why I chose to spend some time with my children. I couldn't bear it if we distanced.

The door swung open revealing a distressed Harley standing in the rain, her eyes tear-soaked. Next to her was Valentino holding Serenity who was wide awake, confused.

I ran out and pulled my baby out of Valentino's arms and pulled Harley in.

So...it wasn't Valentino. Thank god.

I helped him in too. His hair was drenched but he appeared to be fine. His shirt was sticking to her chest so tight that I could see his muscles and 8-pack poking out from beneath.

What sort of training did he do?

Harley looked at me and there was an understanding between us and I knew she wasn't comfortable downstairs. I nodded. She dragged Valentino upstairs with her.

I helped Serenity, bandaged her wound and cleaned it, leaving her in her room. She soon fell asleep. Hearing the front door close I knew it was Valentino leaving. I turned to leave the room to see Hailey leaning against the door.

"A word, sir."

I was baffled. What was with the formal talk? She was my daughter. I could smell the sarcasm from afar.

"Of course, ma'am."

I played along but deep down I knew Hailey was being serious. I followed her into my office.

She took a seat across my desk.

"I want to talk about your job."
