As I Got Ready To Leave My Mother Stopped Me.

"Don't Forget Your Ribbon."

She Said, As She Placed It Around My Shoulder.

"Oh, Thank You Mum."

I Said, As I Left Through The Door.

I'm Audrey Davis.

I'm 18 And Go To Eastwood.
This Is My First Day Of Senior Year, Then I'm Off To College.

I Am Vice President Of The DDC. Or The Dont Die Committee, As You Wish.

The Names Strange Huh?
Its Exactly Like You Think.
We Save People From Death.

Death? What do You Mean By That? Your Probably Asking.

Well, Eastwood Was And Is Top Of The Death Charts For Schools.
Mostly For Suicide, So You Get The Gist?

I Was Walking A Length, Or It Felt Like. The School Was Only 12 Minutes Away.

I Heard A Voice Run Up From Behind Me,

"Audy!!"

It Called Out.
I Turned My Head Around And There I Saw My Bestfriend,
Kelsi Adams.

She Was A Grade Below Me. Meaning I Would Graduate Before Her.

"How Many Times Have I Told You To Stop Calling Me That?"

I Said, Walking Towards The School Gate.

"About 234 Times Why?"

She Said, Following Me.
She Is Also In The Club, But Only As A Member.

We Made Our Way Through The Gate And To The Club House Where We Were Meeted By The Fellow Club Members. There Was A Teacher There Also, She Began;

"Starting This Year, We Made Changes To The Club. Only Small Ones. Just Changing From Ribbons To School Cardigans."

"Why Is That So?"

I Asked.

"Just To Keep Comfort."

She Responded.

As We Collected The Cardigans Puting Them On, We Headed To Class.

After Classes Ended, It Was Time For Daily Watch.

For As Long As I Remember, We Had To Watch Over The School From 2 To 5.

We Eached Were Assigned A Different Areas To Watch Every Year.

Seeing As This Was My Last Year, This Was Special.

I Went To The Club Were I Met Up With Kelsi.

Were Waited For The President To Come.
