CHAPTER #1 - RECRUITMENT.

Earth 3958.

"This thing on?.."
..
"Helloooooo?"
..
"State your name..and your earth."
Lucas heard from a strange, monotoned, male voice ..
"Lucas Summers AKA The Spidernova!"

"Peter..this is just a kid. Send him back."
..
"Peter? Who's Peter? Hey cmon give me a chance!"
Lucas testified as he looked at the masked men. One wore blue and red with a futuristic glow, while the other wore a blue and red suit. A little more traditional but..with a bathrobe ? "He seems kinda tacky..I like him." Lucas thought to himself as he looked at them, his vision got weird. As he got closer to them, his vision became green and his spider sense went off.

"What's uh, what's going on..why's my vision all green..?"

Lucas asked as he tilted his head at them as the strange visual just wouldn't go away. It started to hurt his head.

"It's called a spider sense..are you new to this?"
The futuristic spider asked as he rolled his eyes at him. Almost as if Lucas was waisting his time. Lucas shrugged it off and as simple as that, everything was back to normal.

"Nah. I just do my thing." Lucas said as he glared at the angsty one.

The robed spider took over for the futuristic one since his patience seemed to be running low.

"Alright kid , we are gonna keep this short and simple for my colleague here's sake. Do you have any powers other than the normal Spider-Man lingo?" He said as he snagged one of the fries from the bag.

"Well Mr.Robe, I can control sounds!" Lucas says  as he was already about to demonstrate. He closed his eyes as he put his headphones on and shot a sound wave out of his hands. As he did this, his suit glowed. The futuristic one didn't seem too phased, but it wasn't like he could do all of that so he slowly clapped. Meanwhile, Mr Robe couldn't get enough. His claps were obnoxious and loud. Just enough to get Lucas stubborn enough to give them a bow.

"BRAVO KIDDO!" He said as he cheered. The other just brooded like a bum. It was kind of irritating to look at but Lucas was too enthusiastic to care for him right now.

"Whatever. Welcome to the Spider Society.." The futuristic one spoke as he rolled his eyes, knowing that another teenager was the last thing he needed. "I'm Miguel O' Hara..this here is Peter B. Parker. We will be your mentors on this..'adventure..'"

Lucas jumped up and down happily as he broke out into a happy dance. This lasted a few seconds as he walked into the lobby. There were lots of spider men, women, pets, and..legos? That didn't catch his eye as much as he peaked around the corners of the huge establishment. In the background of it all, Lucas heard Miguel shout next so he slowly peaked his head around the corner to see a girl with a skateboard. He slowly tilted his head to the side as he became even more nosy and peaked his head in so I could see her audition.

"Alright state your earth and your name." Miguel said as it was obvious that he wanted to get this over with.

"Yo yo, Simone Peterson here, also known as Spidey Girl. Earth 5627." She says as she puts her hair into two pigtails. She didn't really care at the fact that this was an audition of some sort, she was simply just doing her own thing. As she waited for them to talk, her vision turned purple and her spider-senses went off, but she handled this well as this wasn't her first time meeting other spider people.

"Yo you guys are like me? Sweet bro!" She said as she jumped up and down. Miguel got annoyed by her teen spirit and slammed his hands on the desk. It startled her so she knew that she should stop. "Yo yo calm down ay?" She said clutching her skateboard.

"You are right. I..apologize." Miguel said but you can tell he didn't really mean it. "Do you have any type of power other than spider like abilities?" He asked as if he didn't just snap at her.

"I- Yes, yes I do. I have reality warping and light manipulation." She doesn't waste anytime and shows them what she can do. She first created two small portals. She stuck her arm in one of them and her hand went to the other portal. She waved at them then stopped her first power act. She then opened the palm of her hands. As she did this, balls of light flashed from her hands as she shot them in the air. As they looked up the light formed into a heart. This caused her to giggle as she heard Peter give her a round of applause.

"YEAH KID!" Peter said as he stood up and continued clapping. "Alright kid, you're in. I'm Miguel and this is Peter B. We are your mentors." Simone just smiled at them and left the room. Her excitement caught up to her as she closed the door to the room and happily squealed as she jumped up and down. She glanced around at all the hundreds of thousands of spider men and woman then locked her eyes on Lucas. He was eating a burger almost bigger than his mouth . He was practically drooling before he looked over at her.

He just stared at her for a few seconds before finally saying something. "Capitalism." She was clearly confused but she looked down at her pins and realized that's what one of them said. Instead of showing that she was a little creeped out, she tilted forward in a bowing motion. "Capitalism." She said as she laughed with him. They weren't paying any attention to what was going on around them and everything seemed fine until they noticed a black flashing light from around the corner that no one else seemed to notice.

"Soooo you saw that..right?" Simone asked Lucas as she kept her eyes on where the light came from. "Hell yeah.." Lucas looked at her then back at the corner. He put his burger down and got up from his seat. Simone doing the same as she slipped her mask down. Lucas let her get in front so he could sneak back to his burger and get one more bite in. He couldn't get another as Simone webbed his back and pulled him along.

"Heyyy!" Lucas pouted as he got pulled along. Simone rolled her eyes at him but laughed as she kept pulling him along. He snatched her web off his back and walked cautiously behind her. As they got closer to the corner, all they could see was a lady. She wore all black and had a hood over her head. It was almost like she was some type of witch by her appearance. She turned around but the two of them hid quickly behind a pile of boxes. She smirked and screeched at the  two of them, sending a sound wave into Simone and Lucas causing them to fly back.

"Ugh!~" Lucas groaned as his body hit the wall. His vision got blurry but he managed to shoot a web at the mysterious woman. She dodged it like it was nothing and screeched again, sending Lucas crashing into a room. Simone was trying to construct a plan as she watched Lucas get tossed around. She saw him barely being able to get up as the woman ran up to him at almost lightning speed and  slammed him into a desk. He was in bad shape. He was bleeding almost everywhere and his suit had started forming little cuts in it. This annoyed him so he got up and rubbed his hands together and clapping his hands. This sent out a sound wave so big that it cut the power to the whole spider facility. Even though it caused a power outage, it knocked the lady off of her feet. As soon as it did, she yelled in annoyance as she got up and stood there. Observing him, Learning him.

Simone finally took the chance. She webbed her arms and spun her around so the web could travel all around her and in-prison her in it. This didn't hold for long as she broke out of it and lunged at Simone. As she did this, Lucas shot a web at her which caused her to go flying into a pile of boxes. As soon as this happened, Miguel jetted down and tackled him. His fangs poked out and his claws were now out as well. He pinned his face down and snatched away Lucas' mask.

"This is all your fault. She's here from your stupid earth you anomaly." Miguel said as he got in Lucas' face. Simone didn't appreciate this and she tried to pull Miguel off of Lucas, but he swung his arm into her chest which sent her flying into a wall, which caused her to pass out as she slid down the wall slowly. He then turned his attention back to Lucas as he pulled his collar down, revealing his neck. He was about to bite him. He was only centimeters away from his neck but something was holding him back. That something was a web. He furiously looked around to see who shot this and to his surprise it was his own colleague, Peter B.
