Symphogear: The Fury of gods part 2

Chapter 8

Hœnir: (satisfied) You are fighting well, but now...

Kvasir:...it's time to end it all!

The two Vanir prepared for a final attack on the Symphogear girls, as the latter desperately tried to recover.

Kvasir takes Hibiki by the collar of her suit and places the blade on her throat

Kvasir: Last wish?

In that moment of tension and difficulty, Hibiki started laughing, perhaps in the throes of madness

Kvasir:(mocking smile) Impressive, you're about to die and you're laughing?  You must be crazy, little girl

Hibiki:(challenging smile) Instead you are a fool...You see, the S2CA is an attack that combines the superb songs of each symphogear, however, for this attack, to be successful, my presence must be indispensable

Kvasir: (Mocking smile) Well little girl, I think this is the first time your beloved S2CA has gone down the drain.  You said your presence is indispensable, right?  So if I kill you, there won't be an S2CA anymore, and surely Nerthus would be happy

Hibiki:(Defiant smile) Maybe you didn't understand well, imagine the attack as a rifle, the superb song is the bullets, but the trigger...That's me!

Hibiki had found a way out of this seemingly hopeless situation.  His determination was unstoppable, and Kvasir was now aware of the mistake she had made.

Kvasir: (eyes widening) What are you saying?

Hibiki:Set Harmonics!

Hibiki, with her determination and courage, challenged Kvasir at a critical moment.  Chanting the Set Harmonics, he rallied the strength of the Symphogear girls, proving that his presence was essential to the attack.  The Symphogear's glowing energy began to grow and glow, forming a powerful attack that surpassed Kvasir.

Kvasir: (dismayed) No... how could I...

The Symphogear's attack, now led by Hibiki's determination, struck Kvasir with devastating force, sending him flying far away.  It was clear that the power of friendship and trust between the girls was unsurpassed.

Hibiki:(breathless) One out...now the second

Hœnir:Stay back!

From the enormous effort made to launch the attack, Hibiki fell to the ground unconscious

Hœnir:I...won?

Despite their heroic effort, Hibiki had collapsed from exhaustion after the combined attack.  Hœnir, wounded but still standing, believed he had won.

Hœnir:And now, let's get this out of the way

Hœnir stabs the scythe on Hibiki's back and seriously wounds her, Hibiki's blood gushes out like a torrent from the wound caused by Hœnir

Hœnir: Join Odin in the realm of the dead!

The Vanir took Kvasir and apparated away, once again, the brave Symphogear had emerged defeated.

While Hœnir and Kvasir retreated, the brave Symphogear emerged defeated.  The girls remained silent, looking at their seriously injured friend.

Maria: (crying) Hibiki...

Chris: (sadly) We can't leave her like this...

Tsubasa: (decided) We have to take her to the hospital, immediately!

The situation was critical, but the Symphogear girls knew they had to act quickly to save Hibiki.  With great determination, they decided to rush her to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.  With Hibiki in her arms, they headed towards the hospital, hoping that she could be saved.
