The following morning, Heimdall and Freyr were the only ones awake.
Heimdall looked at Freyr worriedly.  It was clear that their friend was trying to appear strong, but it was also clear that he needed rest.

Heimdall:Freyr, leave the helm to me, go and rest

Freyre: Don't worry, I can handle it, I slept too long before I reconciled with you

Heimdall: Freyr, I know you want to help us, but it's important that you're in good shape.  Go and rest, we'll take care of the helm.

Freyr:(insisting) I said I'm fine!

Heimdall understood that Freyr was determined to stay awake, but he knew that rest was essential for everyone, especially with what lay ahead of them.  Not wanting to push it any further, he decided to give Freyr the chance to stay awake, but he remained at his side to make sure everything went well.

Heimdall: All right, Freyr, if you insist.  I'll be here with you.  But if you start to feel tired or exhausted, promise to rest, okay?

Freyr: (smiling) Promise, Heimdall.  Thanks for your concern, but with that hyper-developed vision of yours, can you see anything on the horizon?

Heimdall smiled, grateful for Freyr's promise and his attention to the horizon.

Heimdall: (looking intently at the horizon) At the moment, everything seems calm.  I don't see any signs of danger.

Freyr: Can you see Vanheim's entrance?

Heimdall:No!...Are we sure this is the right direction?

Freyr: You are our navigator, you should know that

Heimdall and Freyr continued to watch the horizon carefully, trying to spot any signs that would lead them towards the entrance to Vanheim.  The tension in the air was palpable as they moved closer and closer to their fate.

Heimdall: (concentrating) There is a shift in magical energy on the horizon.  It could be a sign of the entrance to Vanheim.  Get ready, Freyr.

Freyr: (turning serious) I am, Heimdall.  We are ready to face what lies ahead.

Heimdall:(Looking at the horizon) I can't figure out what's causing that distortion

Odin:(tired) What's all this fuss?  I was sleeping so well next to Hibiki.

Freyr: (answering Heimdall) It could be some kind of defense or magical field around the entrance to Vanheim.  We must be careful.

Heimdall: (still watching intently) It seems to be stabilizing.  We might approach with caution.

Meanwhile, Odin had woken up due to the commotion and was approaching the group.

Odin: (yawning) What's happening?  There is a problem?

Freyr: (urgently) Odin, Heimdall has noticed a distortion in the magical energy on the horizon.  It could be the entrance to Vanheim.  We must be careful.

Odin:(Looking at the horizon) Where?  I don't see anything!

Heimdall:Odin, you know that only I can see certain things

Odin:(disdain) Oh right, your "over-developed eyesight"

Heimdall: (concentrating) The distortion is getting closer, it's very powerful.
There appears to be some sort of distortion or magical field approaching the entrance to Vanheim.  We're trying to figure out what it is.

Odin:Freyr, proceed very carefully, it could be a trap!

Freyr nodded with determination and, together with Heimdall, they began to prepare for the arrival of the mysterious distortion in magical energy.  Odin went on alert, ready to give instructions to the group once the situation was clarified.
