Jungkook sat in his office in the states branch of his company going through a file. The huge modern styled desk in front of him was decorated with a desktop, a vase with fresh flowers sprinkling fragrance into the air, a landline phone and a few files stacked towards one side of the desk weighed down by a paper weight.
A knock on the door made him look up from the file as a man in his early twenties walked inside.
''Good Morning, Mr. Jeon...''
''Morning Fred... Did you do what I asked for?'' He asked politely. The man nodded walking ahead and placed the file in front of Jungkook.
''Here is the report of suspicious transactions happened over the last year, Mr. Jeon. The head of finance department doesn't seems to be very honest.'' He replied stepping back and locking his hands behind his back.
The brunet opened the file. His gaze roamed all over the report. Turning the papers, he read each of the transaction closely. The reasons were so vague while the amount was huge. Add to it, the finance department hadn't submitted their yearly report on time making it even more suspicious.
He closed the file and looked up at the other man.
''Thank you so much, Fred.... How much time will it take to get the information of recipient of these transactions?''
The man thought for a moment. ''Two to three days, Sir.''
The brunet thought for a moment. It already had been two days since he came here. He was to leave next day but now, knowing that a big scam may be going on within his company, he couldn't turn a blind eye.
''What was Mr. William doing all this time?'' He asked. Mr. William the CO-CEO is the one who looks after this branch of Jeon Corporation.
''I am doubting that he is also involved in this scandal, Sir.''
''Alright.... get me the data and make sure that no one in the finance department, specially Mr. spencer gets to know about it for now.'' The brunet ordered pointedly making the other man nod.
''I'll try my best, Sir.''
''Also, contact the organisers who organised the event last night. Clear their balance and let them know that we are interested in working together in future too.''
''Okay, Sir...''
The brunet nodded smiling.
''That's all for now, Fred. I'll let you know if there is something else I need your help with.'' He informed the other who nodded.
''Thank you, Sir.... have a nice day.''
With that, he walked out. The brunet looked back at the file in front of him.
Three more days?
Two pairs of amber eyes looked back at him within his mind with a beautiful smile. The brunet remembered every small detail from the moment when he had stopped at the door to the café and turned around to look at the other just one more time.
