"It's good to see you here," Sebastian acknowledged him as he sat beside Sebastian.

"I'm not in the mood, Sebastian. Don't provoke me or I'll kill you," Atlas said without looking at the man beside him.

Shrugging, Sebastian said, "I am just protecting you and your crush—"

"He's not my crush," Atlas muttered irritably.

Sebastian just grinned. "Hmm, I want to see him, maybe I'll like him too."

Atlas quickly turned to his friend, who was grinning beside him.

Atlas knew that Sebastian liked men. He even had a boyfriend once, but they broke up after a month.

"Not him," Atlas retorted, his voice hard as a rock.

"You said you don't like him, so I'll make my move. I'll visit him tomorrow to see him and—"

"Shut up."

Atlas cocked his gun and slammed it onto the table. He looked at Sebastian, who seemed amused despite Atlas's serious threat.

Sebastian raised both hands. "Easy," he laughed. "He's not yours, right? You don't like him either, so maybe—"

A gunshot filled the room.

The conference room went silent. Everyone turned to the wall with a bullet hole, then looked at Atlas, who was glaring at his friend.

But Sebastian didn't seem scared at all. He even laughed more.

"Don't you dare, Sebastian," Atlas threatened, still glaring at his friend.

Sebastian leaned in to whisper, "He's all yours, friend. I'm not that kind of a friend."

Atlas just stared at his friend, his eyes sharp as if he could kill him with just a look.

His chest heaved as he breathed.

He didn't know why he was so angry now, why his blood was boiling because of Sebastian's words.

Before, he never got this mad when Sebastian tried to take his girls. He would just let it go, but now, he felt his vision darkening, barely hearing anything.

All he saw was black, and he wanted to shoot Sebastian in the head, but he managed to restrain himself.

A part of him didn't like other people mentioning Race. He didn't even like seeing Race with someone else. It made him jealous to see Race with other friends besides him.

"What happened?"

Atlas's mother entered the room, followed by his father, who was talking to a man. Out of his three siblings, only Amber and August were present.

"Good noon, tita, tito," Sebastian greeted Atlas's parents. "It's nice to see you here, Amber," and then he nodded at August.

"Why was there a gunshot?" Amber asked, her eyes stopping at the wall with a bullet hole. "Did someone get mad? Went wild?"

"Someone just got annoyed."

Atlas glared at Sebastian, but he ignored him.

"Did you do that, Atlas?" His brother sat beside him.

"No." He lied.

But he wasn't a good liar. No one believed him.

His mother sighed and sat across from him.

James, their tracker, entered the room, walked seriously to the front, and presented an image.

"This is the blueprint of Russo Mansion," he started. Everyone went silent, their attention on him.
