"that was insane." liyah huffed.
"he was so tense i had to leave." nick scoffed.
"i still don't understand what happened." camille spoke up.
since it was all so sudden, camille couldn't drive over because they had to talk about this as soon as possible. ani facetimed her on her ipad.
however, since they're literal neighbors to the triplets, nick walked over.
they were now all huddled up in liyah's bed.
"i..." ani trailed off. "i don't know either?"
"matt posted then alex posted then matt posted again." liyah said.
"kid, don't play dumb." nick said.
"liyah posted looking as gorgeous as ever with a cute little faye webster lyric as her caption and tagged alex, but alex didn't comment." he sighed disappointedly, "matt being the dramatic fuck he is thought that it was so disrespectful and was so sure he could treat liyah ten times better, hence his caption."
"wait- what was his caption?" camille asked.
"you deserve what you've been missing." liyah answered.
"alex obviously was offended and posted a really hot picture of himself with a caption saying something like how liyah was his and not matt's or something." he shrugged. "so then matt posted a picture of himself with a jack & jack lyric as his caption."
"damn.." cami trailed off.
"NICK!" they heard someone screech from outside liyah's room.
"fuck." nick cursed, huffing.
"who-"
"you left me alone with matt." chris barged in, sassy hands on his hips. "i almost got my fucking head bitten off."
"what the fuck did you do?" liyah asked, scooting over to make space for him to sit.
"wow you just assumed i was in the wrong?" chris scoffed, sitting down next to her.
when the whole room went silent, he knew they knew he did something to set him off.
"okay, i may have asked him why he didn't ask you out sooner."
