Can you believe this book has already neared the 4 year mark since this book of mine was published for you guys to read? Time sure does fly when you're lost in the pages of the story of our egghead and beanhead duo, HEESEUNG and JIYEON ;)
Honestly though, I just wanted to take a moment to send you guys a heartfelt thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Your unwavering support, enthusiasm, and love for my book have been the sweetest despite my inconsistency with posting each chapter. It's because of readers like you lot, that my words and creativity were able to come alive and find its way to others. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you so much for being a part of this amazing adventure, angels.
And lastly, here's to the last few chapters of CLANDESTINE !
As a present from me to you — here's a very special chapter to make your day 🤍🎀
"You got me sushi? You spoil me too much." Jiyeon chuckled, basking in the serene shade of the willow tree, her eyes fluttering open to the sight of a towering figure casting his shadow upon her as his physique eclipsed the glistening warm rays of the sun from radiating onto her lazed figure.
In between the grasp of his fingers, he carried a paper bag brimming with a delectable selection of warm sushi, an endearing surprise for their gathering beneath the willow's embrace. Jiyeon, filled with gratitude for the presence and thoughtful gesture from Heeseung, couldn't help but melt into a soft grin.
"It was more for me than for you, but sure."
"Yeah right, as if you were going to just leave me hanging here and make me watch you eat by yourself." Jiyeon released a sneer, as the pad of her tongue clicked against the roof of her mouth. "Let me remind you, you were the one to call me out to hang out today, kind sir."
"You know, you can just admit that you are immensely grateful of my gesture, it's alright."
"Craving for them compliments, jerk?" He sat down next to her leaning against the bark of the willow tree, helping her by putting down the open book that was once laid upon her abdomen as he chuckled away just above the plaid blanket they had rolled upon the grass for them to settle onto. "Why thank you. Your generous efforts have not gone unnoticed. Happy?"
