From the chaos and intensity of what occurred in the classroom today, I nearly forgot all about the note tossed to me earlier.

My stomach churned as the final bell of the school day rang, knowing exactly what it meant. I would have to meet Hongjoong on the rooftop for who knows what.

Calm down, Kai...He might just want to suddenly become friends with you. It doesn't have to mean something bad, right? I thought, attempting to soothe myself.

As I headed to the top of the school building, I noticed Terry packing up his belongings.

"Bye, Terry! See you tomorrow!"

"Ugh, how many times do I have to tell you to shut up!" He scowled and aggressively threw his hulky-looking backpack over his shoulders.

I waved one more time before making my way to the door of the rooftop, bracing myself for whatever layed behind it and slowly creaking open the door.

As I had expected, Hongjoong was already waiting there for me. Surprisingly, a special guest stood beside him. It was Mingi.

I shot both of them an awkward smile, "Hi Hongjoong and Mingi!"

Hongjoong cackled in a menacing manner, "Hi Huening Kai. I've been expecting you..."

I gulped nervously, feeling my palms heat up, "So, uh, what did you have to tell me?"

"I came here to teach you a lesson..." Hongjoong grinned devilishly.

I could have sworn I had briefly seen Mingi mouth the words, "run for your life" as a tear raced down his cheek, but I didn't have enough time to process what was happening, as Hongjoong rapidly lunged towards me and delivered a fatal kick to my abdomen.

I toppled to the floor, clutching my stomach in pain.

"You think of yourself as so high and mighty, just for being excused from Terry's punches." He grumbled, raising a fist and aiming for my face.

"I-IM SCARED!" Mingi whimpered in the corner, curling up into a ball. Snot and tears dripped down from his face.

"YOU! I didn't bring you here to do absolutely nothing! COME HELP ME BEAT HIS ASS!" Hongjoong spat, demanding for Mingi to aid him.

Mingi bawled his eyes out, slowly approaching me.

"I-IM S-SORRY!" He screamed, landing the weakest punch in mankind on my face.

"It's okay, Mingi. It's not your fault." I muttered, still feeling the agony from the unexpected hit to my abdomen.

Hongjoong furiously glared at Mingi as his face turned redder than a tomato, balling up his fists again to attack me.

"THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE!" He roared, powerfully smashing me in the face in a way that I knew would leave several bruises.

I choked out in pain, "Please stop! I beg you..." I cried, grasping my throbbing cheek in extreme discomfort.

I shut my eyes tightly, seeing Hongjoong preparing to land another blow to my face. I wish it would just stop...

"WHAT'S GOING ON! I CAN'T CONTROL MY BODY!" I heard Hongjoong shriek, his voice shaking with terror.

Without a warning, the most appalling scene of my life played out right before me.

Hongjoong sprinted and leaped directly off of the edge of the rooftop, letting out blood-curdling yells and screams for help as he slowly plummeted down. A few seconds later, a splatting noise resounded through the air. Hongjoong became completely silent.

He had died.

Fear paralyzed my entire body as I felt my heart furiously hammer inside of my chest.

"W-W-WHAT J-JUST HAPPENED!" I hyperventilated and frantically carried myself to where Hongjoong had landed, my legs wobbly and weak as if they had become jello.

My blood froze as my fears were confirmed. Hongjoong laid in a pool of his own blood, the puddle growing larger and larger by the second.

My entire body trembled with panic as I clamped a sweaty hand over my mouth, feeling sick to my stomach. Mingi momentarily stared at me with furrowed brows, before screeching and bolting out of the door.

I fell down to the ground and clutched my knees, sobbing uncontrollably and reaching a shaky hand into my pocket for my phone. I dialed the police and explained the situation to them, hoping maybe that he had a chance of survival somehow, even though I knew deep down that it was too late.

I silently snickered at the scene that had unfolded before me. It had felt wonderful being reaffirmed of the power the sketchbook held. While this all had occurred, I was shielded behind two giant dumpsters, out of sight.

I'm so glad that pathetic brat is dead.

I noticed that Mingi had sprinted away from the scene, with Kai remaining as the only person left standing alone.

No one will notice that I killed him!

I speedily crept away from Kai and traveled an alternate staircase outside the school building to appear unnoticeable. A few minutes later, the ringing of police sirens and ambulances resounded within the campus.

Time to get away from here...

I bolted to the bus station nearby the campus and boarded the first bus that had arrived.

I can't wait to tell father about what had happened today!
