You sat at a nest helping the children along in their transformation. Luna was resting her head on your shoulder while no one was looking. You casually looked around for Mary seeing her along with some other girl making hex bags. You look at your left hand thinking of your father Zues. You could tell he sees you spiraling into the dark. Your hand glows blue crackling with lightning. Luna touches it always curious of your power. She then asked a personal favor keeping her voice down.
" Maybe... you could pass that down to our child."
" It's dangerous.-"
" But think about it! A child of Earth and then one of the sky! Each one baring a hand."
" It's more than about power to me, you know that? They're already strong enough, don't you think? All these children are strong to take on this world and to change our lives.... I'll think about it for you."
" Thank you! Am I your wife now?"
She snuggles into your neck quickly. You smiled tiredly craving her attention at your own depression. You tell her to stop before Lavender sees knowing her jealousy was too much. You can't get your father off you mind as you tell her you're heading back to the school. Luna kisses you on the cheek as you make your way over to your nest. That's when your eyes narrowed down at bare roots of a four month old now gone. Your little girl.. is gone. You know it isn't a wild animal for the warding is as thick as it can be and constantly being enchanted. You leaned down to the plant shaking your left hand going off like a beacon. The housing along with the more and more recruits surround you not showing fear though they clearly felt it.
" Will someone please bring Lavender here this instant?"
Your voice crackled from electricity. She presented herself from the crowd her arms crossed behind her back. She asked why you requested her you keeping your voice come beside your appearance. You knew what to do at this point. You hide your heart ache as she presents herself as she done nothing wrong. You explained that a child is gone wanting to know why.
" It's your punishment of course. You revealed us putting our society in danger."
" It would of never been revealed if you hadn't snoop around in business that is not yours and place hexes on me."
" Maybe so. You should of been more resilient."
" Against the Gods? Do you hear what you're saying?"
Whispering was all around now. Luther holds Mary and Luna back seeing the worry in their eyes. You asked where the child is back, and she explained she turned your little girl into a sacrifice. You clenched your fist taking a step forward. You could boycott helping with the other nests, but that puts the others in danger. Your helping hand would be gone then as well, and they would most definitely kill them if not take the children for theirselves. She calls you lucky saying it had been determined to end your membership as well proclaim the rest as property. You look down at your nest at a lost. You just give a nod of understanding before bending down in front of the plant trying to summon its life force. A little silver of a pink and blue cosmic glow appeared you clasping it in your hands. You take a few seeds from the handful you've been spreading from your pockets. You attempt to attach it watching it weakly stay out. You leave at that hoping your punishment was over with being forced to trust them. On the way in, you're met with Professor Snape who had a letter for you. You see the cursive Z on the front knowing it was from your father. As you walk away, you see you've been invited to come home for two weeks. He believes it'll be best for you. You keep the letter close wondering how you'll deny your father of his request. As you prepare for dinner, you place the seed in a new jar placing her where you use to keep her siblings. You think about their back stories finding each child interesting. You of course have your first made out of pure accident but filled with pure love for you. Even as a child unborn, he or she were incredibly strong you feeling they can take down the school if they wanted to. They have protected you and kept you company when no one else was there to keeping you insane. You pull the four month child from our under the bed sharing a plastic container with their two month siblings. A child that had survive the impossible losing a father but gaining a mother. You had taken them from the grasp of death and given them new life. They're the off spring of a man you hate, but you can't let it affect your feelings towards them. Their purple light a fire in your heart. You now have a child in your grasp that's been wrong and made into a sacrifice at your decision. They had to be a consequence of an action that fair towards you having already been rejected and forgotten by their previous parents. They've came back to life from the unknown hoping they'll be able to go through the process of growing all over again. You then think of your son Aster having scheduled to take them tonight from Luther. You assume he had left the child he so willingly abandoned in the beginning in his dorm room for their safety having to do the same because of school and attending the nests. It was a rough life to be a seeder right now hating the idea of being deprived of a healthy childhood. This needs to end now. You let go of the idea of being an occultist needing to put being a mother first. You read the letter again thinking of Aster admitting you should make a visit. Maybe you can solve this situation not realizing you'll never be returning.
