Jisung was a good, quiet kid. He barely turned 18 and was one of the cleaning boys. Because the mansion and all the barns with animals were huge there were over twenty people cleaning, everyday.

Jaemin walked with Jisung upstairs to a room they had to clean. It was a decent sized bedroom that unsurprisingly, was fully black. You couldn't even tell that anyone was living there because no personal belongings were out. Jaemin wondered how these people lived here. It was as if they were all ghosts.

Jisung was really focused on his job which made Jaemin also stay quiet. Cleaning wasn't as fun for Jaemin as cooking but it was alright. It was definitely more draining physically but still a whole lot better than fighting. During those few hours they spent on cleaning Jaemin learnt from Jisung that they clean every room in the mansion plus the barns but never get into Jeno's part of the house. The only person allowed there is Jeno's cousin. Jaemin thought then about who cleans all of it. Jeno's part was on the highest 3rd floor, he had his bedroom, bathroom, an office and a huge playroom. He couldn't imagine Jeno on his knees cleaning the floors. The thought made Jaemin giggle.

After they were done with cleaning Jisung walked Jaemin out of the mansion into the garden where Renjun was already waiting for him. Jisung told him that he only has to write that incredibly important report and he was free for today. He was going to look for Minjae and play with him. Jisung was really excited for it which made Jaemin smile.

Gardening wasn't something that Jaemin was interested in. He knew a lot of herbs and their effects but he wasn't really into the whole process of growing them. He wasn't patient enough. It turned out that Renjun was the only one who took care of the herbs here, there were people responsible for vegetables, fruits and flowers but herbs were Renjun's alone. He told Jaemin that he preferred to work alone.

Jaemin put gloves on and got a small shovel to work. They had to get the weeds out and plant some new herbs as it was season for them. At the end they had to water all of the plants there. It definitely wasn't a job for him but Jaemin enjoyed working with Renjun. It wasn't like he disliked working with Haechan or Jisung but him and Renjun were similar in a lot of things. They liked to talk but only about the things that they were interested in, they were alright with silence that could last a minute or an hour and most importantly their sense of humor was almost the same. Jaemin spent the whole afternoon working and talking with Renjun.

In the evening Chenle came and walked with him to one of the barns. It took them a good 20 minutes to get there but the moment they walked inside Jaemin knew it was definitely worth it. In the barn there were cows with their little ones. They all moowed when they saw people coming in.

Their job was to give the mama cows food and feed the little ones that were orphaned. This was the cruel reality of life. All animals abandoned their children even humans.

Seeing Jaemin's excitement Chenle showed him how to feed the little ones and went ahead to prepare food for the adults. Jaemin was patting all the calves that were walking around him. They were all really cute. They reminded him of Minjae in some ways.

Jaemin was only in the middle of feeding when Chenle ran to him panicked. It turned out that another cow was in the middle of labor in another barn and it wasn't going well. Chenle had to go there but didn't know what do to with him. Jaemin told him that he's alright, he'll feed all of the cows and then go back to the mansion. He was sure that he remembered the way. After hearing that Chenle moved so quickly that Jaemin only saw his back for a few seconds, he did shout thank you about hundred times.

After he was done with his work Jaemin walked out of the barn and saw dark clouds on the sky. It was already late and there were no lights around here so he was left alone and in the dark. It wasn't like he let Chenle go without a second thought. Not at all. At least he remembered the way back to the mansion so he stared going back quickly hoping to get inside before it starts raining. Unfortunately he wasn't able to do that as the second he moved 10 meters away from the barn it started raining. It wasn't a light summer rain but a huge storm was coming.
