RWBY: Grimm Slayer (Vol.5) (Male Reader x RWBY)

Chapter 29

(Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Neo)

The group begins to prepare to leave the Mistralian house and head to the place Y/N suggested. Inside the living room, the current members of Team RWBY+Y/N, the remaining members of Team JNPR, and Qrow bring their stuff over to the couches. As they do that, Yang, Weiss, and Y/N describe what they've been doing at Anima with Weiss and her Y/N being captured by Raven and her bandit tribe and Yang, Neo, and their Y/N driving through Anima to get to Raven's whereabouts. Absorbing their stories, Ruby is left in utter awe. 

Ruby: "Wooow... wait, what about Neo? Why she like clinging onto Y/N's arm?"

Y/N, Yang, and Weiss share a look before turning their attention back to Ruby.

Yang: "Yeah... about that...?"

Y/N: "You see, Rubes..."

The former heiress just cuts in with her arms crossed. 

Weiss: "She's in love with Y/N."

Ruby: "Eh? Really?"

They then go on to explain how Y/N and Yang met with her back in Patch all the way to Weiss meeting Neo back in Raven's bandit camp. As well as that they already told Neo about this relationship of theirs and both Yang and Weiss already approve of Neo being a part of it. Ruby is just baffled by this information she's been given.

Ruby: "Wow... a lot has happened while I was gone, huh?"

Yang: "Hehe, you could say that."

Weiss: "Yeah, no kidding."

Y/N: "So... what do you say, Rubes? You okay with Neo?"

Ruby is left pondering to herself for a couple of moments.

Ruby: "Hmm..."

Eventually, Ruby shifts her gaze to her teammates and nods to them happily.

Ruby: "Sure! I'm okay with it."

Weiss: "Is that so?"

Ruby: "Mm-hm. So long as she doesn't try to hurt any of us." 

Weiss: "My thoughts exactly. Even if she has a tendency to 'press' herself onto him."

Ruby: "She does?"

Weiss: "Ugh, please don't remind me."  

Joyfully, Yang turns to Y/N, wrapping her robotic arm around his shoulders.

Yang: "There you have it, babe. You got our team leader's approval." 

Y/N: "I'm fully aware of that, Yang." 

Weiss: "And that's one more girl that swoon over a dunce like you."

Y/N: "Hey!"

Yang just giggles at their little exchange as Weiss slowly begins to giggle herself.

Ruby: "..."

During this, Ruby just stares at Yang, especially her robotic arm. She's happy that Yang has gotten a new and cool arm from General Ironwood, but she can't help but feel upset, frustrated, and disgusted with herself once she recalls that she dismembered Tyrian's stinger, which was another limb to him and to her. Soon enough, Yang begins to notice Ruby's gaze and quietness as she speaks out loud. 

Yang: "Hey Ruby... what's wrong?"

Ruby: "U-Uhm..."

This makes Ruby look away a bit from her sister's gaze as Y/N and the others took notice of this as Yang pull her robotic arm off of Y/N's shoulders. All eyes fall to Ruby as Y/N asks.
