STRANDED [ON HOLD]

Stranded

[Hello everyone and welcome back to Stranded! Thank you for your patience, I got backed up with school, the first arc I wrote mostly on vacation! The spacing got a little funny for this ARC, but to be honest I don't mind it lol]

"Alright everyone, I think you had enough training for now from the first couple of classes to be able to go out! I'm sending a group at a time and they will come back before I send the next group. The group I will be sending first is Sonic, Sticks, Knuckles, Amy and myself." Tails gives everyone the rundown and they nod. The group he picked starts getting their stuff ready before they wave and start running away from base.

"I don't know how to feel about sending such a small group." Shadow narrows his eyes and taps his foot.

    "You're going to follow them, aren't you." Rouge glares at him and he nods while crossing his arms. "I'm coming too."

    "Your wing is clipped because of me. Please don't." Shadow starts walking away and Rouge grabs his arm.

    "My wing is fully healed. You didn't do it on purpose either. I'm going." Rouge grabs a pre-packed backpack. Shadow sighs and nods while continuing to walk away from base. Rouge waves and everyone waves back.

With the Boom Crew, they are far, flying on Tails' plane. Amy is in the passenger seat, while Sticks is hanging off one of the wings and Sonic and Knuckles are on opposite wings from each other. From the aerial view, they don't notice how a zombie on the ground has a rocket launcher, until Sticks points it out.

    "I WAS TELLING Y'ALL HOW I KNOW THEY COULD USE ROCKET LAUNCHERS AND NO ONE BELIEVED ME!!" She yells and they all look down, seconds too late. The plane explodes and everyone screams as the plane parts going into different directions and throw them into different parts of land and sea. Sonic lands in the ocean, petrified; Knuckles lands in a tree; Sticks is in the mud; Amy also lands in the ocean on the opposite side of a cave; Tails lands in a jungle tree just above Sticks.

    "What... happened?" Tails asks as he holds his head on the top of the tree. He holds it straight and looks down at Sticks. "Who... are you? Where am I?"

    "Oh no..."

Amy finds herself in the ocean and raises her head above the water to look around for the nearest strip of land, and all she can find is the cave. She swims to it and notices a blue figure struggling in the water and her eyes go wide. He's doing a good job at keeping his head above the water, but Sonic is panicking. She swims over to him and grabs him and starts kicking over to the cave. He takes a deep breath to calm himself down and starts kicking with her. They get to the cave and collapse on the wet, muddy ground. Breathing heavily, they lay there, worried. Where are they? How do they get home?

    "Oh my.." Sonic pants and faces Amy, who continues panting as well. He sighs. "Where do you think the others ended up?"

    "I'm not sure..." Amy lets a small smile paint her face, she's glad it's him. They can get out of this. Sonic sits up with a groan and stretches his back. "Any scratches?" Amy asks as she scans his body for scratch marks, only to see there are none. She sighs a breath of relief as she rubs at something on her leg. Sonic perks up and notices blood leaking out of her thigh.

    "I think you hit a fallen branch in the water or something, let me see it."

    "No... you don't have to, it's nothing." Amy whimpers. Sonic rolls his eyes, knowing she's lying and takes out bandage tape from the bag Tails had him carry. Sonic's bag consisted of all the first-aid supplies and matches, as he is the fastest thing alive, he could get to one of the members in need in a second. Amy's bag, as well as Knuckles' bag has berries, nuts, and stuff to hunt with. Sticks and Tails had tool bags, for making items to hunt or gadgets along the way. Each of them also got a walkie-talkie to talk to their team members as well as the rest of the squad back at the base, but their's got waterboarded and cannot work anymore. Sonic cuts open the pant-leg covering the blood and grabs bandages and ​​wraps her leg. Amy lets out a grunt before standing up, with Sonic's assistance.

    "Let's explore." Amy suggests and Sonic nods.

    "What do you mean you don't know me?" Sticks asks as Tails falls out of the tree with a thump.

    "I've never seen you in my life. I don't even know how I got here! What is this place? Some sort of jungle I guess? The trees are HUGE! I took quite the tumble getting down here..." Tails walks around the area, checking it out and Sticks massages her temples, wondering how she could fix this. Her first idea is to whack him over the head as hard as she can, but she decides against it. She follows him through the jungle, hoping to find Knuckles.

Knuckles, on the other hand, found himself in a normal-looking forest, that is, against an apocalyptic forest or a jungle. He walks around after rubbing the tree branch off of his head. He continues until he sees two figures coming up to him, running and flying.

    "Shadow? Rouge? What are you doing here?!" He yells out.

    "Knuckles! We saw The Tornado fall from the sky and saw you landed over here! Are you alright?!" Rouge asks as they come closer. Knuckles nods and groans as he cracks his back and stretches his arms out. He notices they have bags and asks what they have in them. Rouge has weapons, like ninja stars, ammo, and other stuff, while Shadow grabbed a bandage bag and matches. Knuckles tells them he has the snacks and the hunting gear.

    "Have you seen anyone else?" Knuckles questions and they shake their heads.

    "I only saw the general areas where they landed. Tails and Sticks ended up in the jungle, while Sonic and Amy are in an ocean area." Rouge mentions. Knuckles starts walking north towards the jungle, in hopes that Tails will know how to solve this, but it seems as if Tails has a problem of his own.

    "Okay so let me get this straight... We're in an apocalypse, and we were separated from our best friends, Knuckles, Sonic, and Amy, and now we have to find them?" Tails asks Sticks, who nods. "I guess I can deal with that. I'm also the smart one of the group?" Sticks nods again. Tails grabs her shoulder. "Welp, we're doomed."

    "I really hope Mister Shadow and Miss Rouge are okay..." Cream mutters to her mother, who holds her shoulder.

    "I always loved how selfless you are, always looking out for others, but you know how strong they are. Vector, would you and the rest of The Chaotix want to go looking for them?" Vanilla mentions and Vector shrugs and nods.

    "We'll head out in a couple days to go on a search to make sure everyone is okay. Espio said some of them lost connection on their communicators, but he's sure it's just because their service must be bad out there, they are in the middle of the woods and most of the telephone towers are down. I wouldn't be surprised if that has something to do with it." Vector explains and Vanilla nods and pats Cream on the head.

    "Let's start making lunch for everyone, does that sound good?" She asks and Cream agrees and walks to the kitchen with her. Silver and Blaze are seen chatting over some tea, Charmy is eating Honey Nut Cheerios, and everyone else is in their designated rooms.

    "Tails! Sticks!" Knuckles yells out into the wilderness and his voice echoes. "Huh... that was kinda fun... SONIC IS ANNOYING!" He cackles and continues walking.

    "Knuckles, stop being a child." Shadow scoffs and Rouge snickers.

    "SHADOW IS AN EMO BABY!!!" Rouge yells and Shadow groans as he continues walking.

    "HE ALWAYS HAS A POLE UP HIS ASS!!!" Knuckles screeches and Shadow whacks his head.

    "WE'RE IN AN APOCALYPSE, AND WE'RE GOING TO GET CAUGHT!!" Shadow screeches louder than that of the other two, and if on cue, about fourteen zombies come out of the bushes and surround them. "Oh Chaos." Shadow murmurs under his breath and takes his battle stance.

Sonic and Amy continue their walk through the cave and find no exit. Sonic whistles a bit under his breath and Amy walks with her arms crossed, awkward but not showing it.

    "Are we going to talk about what we said to each other a couple days ago?" Amy asks, confident in wanting to hear an answer from the hero himself.

    "I said you were mine and I am yours, case closed." He says matter-a-factly, and she sighs.

    "What great timing we had, huh?" She chortles sarcastically and he holds her hand.

    "I don't care if we did it with terrible timing or not. I'm yours and you are mine." He smiles at her and she smiles back. They let the silence take over them as they trek through the muddy cave, alone.
