STRANDED [ON HOLD]

Salvation

"One thing I never understood is this damn compass." Knuckles stares at the compass in his huge gloves and Shadow groans.

    "Like this, you big oaf." He grabs it out of his hand and it shows the direction towards the jungle he and Rouge saw Tails and Sticks fly into. "North. Let's go."

    "How did you even..." Knuckles stutters.

    "Magic." Shadow nonchalantly sneers and starts walking towards the direction. Rouge shrugs and continues on with him. Knuckles grumbles under his breath and follows.

Sonic and Amy continue walking through the cave, alone again, unnaturally... or so they think. A figure dashes around them and Sonic throws his arm out to the side to protect Amy. The person throws themself at them and snarls.

    "SHOW YOURSELF!!" Sonic yells out and the person gasps.

    "Sonic?! It's me!" A purple hedgehog walks out of the shadows and Sonic doesn't notice the tear that pricks at the side of his eye.

    "I know that voice.." Sonic stares at her as she walks out towards him. They run at each other and she tackles him to the ground. "SONIA!!" Tears are flowing down his face and she laughs as they lay on the ground for a second. He looks her up and down before realizing just how beat up she is. Clothes tattered and a mess, her hair is in knots Amy raises an eyebrow until Sonia stares at her. She gasps and runs at the pair. They throw their arms around each other, laughing as well.

    "Sonia, I haven't seen you in forever!" Amy cries out and Sonic perks up, confused on how they know each other. He doesn't remember introducing the two of them.

    "How do you two know each other?" He asks and they smile at him.

    "We met at a Wilderness Explorer Club a year or so ago, we were in the same group!" Sonia giggles. "Y'know, Sonic, Amy used to always talk about how cool you are, and how brave." She purrs and Sonic smirks at Amy, who flushes red.

    "Oh, was she now~" He walks over to her and wraps his arm around her. "My girlfriend is so cute."

    "OH MY GOSH ARE YOU TWO DATING NOW?!!" Sonia yells out and Sonic nods at her and Amy feels as if she could die from embarrassment.

    "Guys, apocalypse. Sonic and I are trying to find our way out of here to land instead of the ocean, do you have any ideas?" Amy asks and Sonia shrugs.

    "I was trying to look for Manic, but I haven't been able to find him either. It's slightly worrying me."

    "We'll find him, sis." Sonic nods to her and she smirks.

    "Yeah, now that we have two of the trio back together, of course we will!"

"STICKS IS THAT YOU?!" Knuckles yells as they approach Sticks, who smiles and waves.

"Yeah, but we have a sliiiiiiiiight problem." She starts. Tails is on the ground, still passed out and Knuckles deadpans.

    "What in the world happened to Tails?" He says through his teeth.

    "Well, I totally didn't knock him out because he totally lost his memory if you are wondering..." She trails off and Knuckles rolls his eyes.

    "See, this is exactly what I was talking about." Shadow takes a deep breath in.

    "Tails! Sticks!" Rouge walks up and notices Tails on the ground. "Ah, nice."

    "Okay, well we're going to have to fix that." Shadow walks up to the pair with a fox on the ground. He hoists Tails over his shoulder. Rouge's communicator goes off.

    "Hey, we have service!!" She smiles as she presses the button down. "Rouge here, what's up?"

    "We wanted to ask how it is going down there!" Vector's voice goes through and Rouge sweat drops.

    "Well... Sonic and Amy are lost somewhere at sea, we just found Tails and Sticks finally, and Knuckles is just as dumb as ever." She explains.

    "HEY!" Knuckles yells in the background and Vector goes slack-jawed.

    "Uhh, yeah. Help is on the way." He blinks and shakes his head. Vector sends them a pin-point on the map and Rouge shows everyone.

    "Let's get ready to rendezvous at the pick up area." Shadow leads them.
