You sat down at your usual table in the Dining Hall, Guy plopping himself down in the seat right next to you.

Since your first patrol together, he now insisted he sit with you for meals, and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Hoping he'd take a hint, you decided to pay him no mind, answering his questions with one word or sometimes not at all.

But he just kept coming back.

It was like nothing discouraged him.

And just as he finished asking you who your favorite musician was for the tenth time, the chef brought him his eggs.

Looking out the corner of your eye, you noticed they were poached instead of scrambled, like how he ordered, but decided to pay it no mind.

Big mistake.

Guy flipped the table, taking your cereal with it, and hitting a group of people in the process.

"Guy!" you exclaimed, scrambling to hold him back as he lunged for the cook.

He growled and thrashed around, trying to grab the poor alien.

Somehow, you managed to pin his arms behind his back and get him down on the ground, placing all your weight on him to try and keep him there.

"Guy, they're just eggs!" you grunted, still trying to hold him down.

Suddenly, the shouts and uproar of the cafeteria died down to near silence.

The two of you looked up in sync, mentally cursing as Kilowog walked in.

It was quite the sight.

You drenched in milk with little cereal bits in your hair, sitting on top of Guy, who had his hands behind his back, as he reached for the cook.

Guy grunting and growling, face angry, completely ignoring the two people he'd injured with the table.

It was clear where you two were going for this mess.

'Crap.'

The Guardians threw you two in the brig for causing a disturbance—even going as far as saying you both needed a time out.

For you, it was quite infuriating.

"Why did you flip out over eggs?! With your appetite, you would've ate it anyways!" you fumed, upset that your partner got you stuck in this mess.

"I like my eggs how I like 'em and no one's gonna change that!" Guy fired back, crossing his arms over his chest.
